β β β β β The pictures they advertised versus the actual food that arrive differ completely. I topped up the extra for premium ingredients and those were disappointing too. Restaurant was extremely understaffed that a queue formed within 10min despite the restaurant being three quarters empty. Tried the kombu shabu shabu broth that lacked umami, and the pork butaniku broth that become a consommΓ© after it boiled for 5min and the thick scum was skimmed off. During the meal it was hard to get the attention for service as no one was around. If it weren't for the affordable price I'd never go back.

β β β β β Great place for a no frills hot pot buffet. Choose from several different soup bases. Description of each soup base is fairly detailed but basically, do you want spicy, milky, clear or strong taste.
I don't recommend visiting on their peak priced days which is weekends. The extra perks is not worth the extra cash. The cakes are bad, the ice cream is a tasteless Thailand unknown brand and the drinks well, coke and sprite and something non-carbonated.
The staff refuse to serve more meat when there's 10 mins left to eat, so beware, its like this at every outlet. Order what u think you can eat in the last 15 mins. This policy is not transparent to the consumer and it is irritating.
We enjoyed the freshness of the meat, unlike Seoul garden which is badly frozen meat that only taste of marinate.

β β β β β It was my first time dining at this Sukiya Branch and the service is substandard. The food quality was not as good as other branches as well.
It took quite a while to be seated even though there were plenty of empty tables but the staff just walked pass and looked at us without seating us.
We (5 pax) decided to dine at Sukiya as there is a birthday promotion, and we wanted to use it to celebrate the birthday.
A lady in black uniform without name tag, the manager i assume, told us to spilt into 2 groups as they only have tables for 2 and 3 pax max even though we told her we are willing to wait but the restaurant don't serve table of 5pax.
Once we were seated, we checked with the lady whether we can use the birthday promotion, she just said no and walked away.
We were very disappointed to that it happened and it ruined our original plan of celebrating the birthday. We would have otherwise gone to another place or branch to eat if we knew beforehand or the staff was clearer about the seating arrangement.

β β β β β Great service. Food was average. Free flow of thinly sliced Beef, pork, chicken and vegetables. Self service self made sauce for your hot pot. Place were a little cramp for my liking. Sake was great n beer with the food

β β β β β I can only rate them 2 stars for now. The staff that service us, she is not very friendly and her approached is quite abrupt.
The soup base, is quite salty. Overall experience is not very pleasant.
May not consider to come back and hope to have new stall inject in Plaza soon...

β β β β β Ordering was fuss free and everything is via the tab now. Food was served very quickly and the young staffs are all very attentive and swift. ? had a relaxing and filling lunch.

β β β β β I went suki-ya just now in BPP.
The suki-ya is quite cheap hotpot place.
So i donβt expect the restaurant actually.
But i hope theyβre changing something.
1st. all of the staff are not smiles at the working time.they are looking not happy.. I think the restaurant owner needs to give some more salary or bonuses for nice service.
2nd.the dish is dirty. You can check in my pictures.
Thatβs all my thinking^^

β β β β β Food Was Served Out Relatively Fast, Thru QR Code Ordering. One Of The Indian Petite Lady Staff V Friendly. I Stil Prefer Sukiyaki Soup Base Than Other Broths. TOTAL Bill Est $74 For 2 Pax During Weekends. + $2.90 Per Pax For Free Flow Drinks. Price Point Considered High With Not Much Food Variety Choices.
