★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My first visit here last night for dinner. We had the Sun's mixed combo and garlic butter clams. I have to say that the food was fantastic. The clams were good appetizers, nice and with enough garlic to make it tasty. The Sun's mixed combo was sufficient for 2 persons. I loved the corn because you can taste the butter on it, which is something I seldom find in most places. The sausages were ok. But the ribs were excellent! Nice and tasty! And of course, we washed it all down with beer!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is my 2nd visit to Sun bistro as we had an exceptional dining experience which was provided during our 1st visit here on last week.
The staff are friendly and patient to each individual guest during order taking.
Specially to Benjamin, for his warm hospitality provided throughout. He will be going round table to check back, doing small chats to find out on his guest needs and feedback. Kudos to Benjamin for his outstanding service and keep your passion burning and enthusiasm display!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The location is good. Nice ambience. Love the feel of sea breeze and the sea views. The food is average. They only have spaghetti for pasta, some other options like penne will be nice. Nachos needs improvement ... they don't even use nachos chips. Garlic bread and Spring rolls are superb.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We first visited Sun Bistro when they had just opened for business. I'm happy that I've returned after a while to find the food almost as good as the first time around and the service quality as well.
We had the pork chop, spring chicken and halibut. The pork chop was good, the halibut was ok as well, but the spring chicken was a let down. I wouldn't recommend this dish, found it lacking in flavour when you eat your way through and it wasn't cooked well too.
Otherwise, the ambience was great as we managed seats by the sea view - kudos to service staff for accommodating our request! The aisle side seats can be a bit bothersome with people walking past.

Service is good and prompt, but waitress need to improve on explaining the menu.
Ordered spicy mid wings and ice cream waffle. price is ok for both. Wings are very crispy and soft on the inside. But its not spicy at all.
ice cream waffle was good. big scoop of ice cream with Two pieces of waffle.
Ambiance was excellent, not as noisy as the other places. View was blocked by all the trees though.
Overall enjoyable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fussy wife who likes her steak mid well didn't complain. Happy wife, happy life. No need to say more. Totally worth the bill.
Waiter explained it's more worthy to take a 2L Tower beer than the 1 pint I ordered because was a 20% discount on food when you order the tower.

Patronized Sun Bistro at this outlet a couple of times before. Taking a heavy heart to pen this review for tonight’s dinner (14 May 2022).
The good, service is good and prompt. 5 stars for that. Mushroom soup is not bad.
The bad, the food is generally terrible. The crab curry mussels and clams is an absolute mess. Then the pork chop steak and pork knuckle is as dry as the recent Singapore weather. The pork knuckle is so bad that even the cold storage one will taste better. Some portion of the pork knuckle meat is very dry and certainly looks like it has been reheated a few times. Very disappointed.
Was quite excited when I saw Sun Bistro opening a branch nearby but after a few tries, the food quality is really disappointing. Please improve the food quality.
