Suparakki Ramen @ Heartland Mall Kovan

Suparakki, more like suparabbak. First have to say the service is okay, no hate against the staff. But the food is really bad. The Tonkotsu Shoyu Ramen was subpar, you would rather go to Takagi. My mom had the Signature noodles, she puked one hour later and I almost puked too, but I tried to hold it in.

Nice food, served quickly. Great service. Staff was nice enough to check if we are ok with the aircon and if it was too cold and whether my youngest is fine using chopsticks. The spicy really isn't too spicy. Will try the white devil ramen next time!

Went there around midnight. The poor guys have to cook, serve, and do cashier duty all by themselves. Overall the ramen at that price is tasty and just so you know don’t expect a big portion of ramen(because of the price point) you pay for what you get. The sides were ok, nothing special to shout about. I will be back if I need to myself a bowl of ramen to ease the craving.

The truffle ramen is amazing and the spicy ramen is really spicy. Right at the heart of kovan, at heartland mall. The ramen is superb and the price is affordable. The staff are friendly too. Head down to get some cheap and nice truffle ramen.

Spicy black garlic ramen broth was good, not watery and not too thick. But the truffle dry ramen too oily. Came on weekend dinner, still have plenty seats. Can enjoy the dinner without being rushed.

Low cost Ramen, was recommended at the counter, the Supa Signature Ramen cost only $8.90 before GST. Soup tasted like a mixture an instant pork broth and chicken powder stocks, more like in the lower average Japanese made instant ramen. There are 2 well cooked slabs of pork, a large square piece of seaweed, couple of black fungus, half of a soft boiled Japanese egg, spring onions bits and the noodle texture and taste like instant Japanese dried ramen. Feel thirsty after the meal , indicating a generous proportion of MSG served. I’m not saying it is all bad, what you pay is what you’ll get. So don’t expect much for what you’d paid. They accept only CASH or NETS, indicating the low costing business philosophy. Recommended - if you want a quick ramen without much waiting. Not-Recommended - if you’re expecting a genuine Japanese Ramen.

Not many ramen options in the middle of the night, and smack in the heartland area of Kovan too. Dry ramen was pretty good, with a tinge of truffle taste. Their signature Supa ramen has a tasty broth. Karaage and Gyoza was alright, but a good add on to have nevertheless. All in all a great value ramen, cheap price and good.

Keep expectations low and you will be pleasantly surprised by this quaint little eatery. My fav was the supa signature ramen - its a classic bowl of fast food ramen that ticks all the right boxes. The richness of the broth definitely cant be compared to other ramen chains but it’s tasty (and salty!!!) enough to satisfy one’s late night ramen cravings. Loved the supa firm noodles and thick cuts of chashu. Truffle ramen was nothing to shout about but given the price, I have no complaints. It’s just a dry bak chor mee ramen drizzled with a tad too much truffle oil. Would’ve preferred cha shu instead of the pork pieces! Soft shell crab was nice and meaty but portion a lil small. Bonus points for being open 23/7 and being staffed by the loveliest people. Came back for round 2 to try the following: 1) black devil garlic oil ramen: great!!! A relatively well done bootleg of ippudo’s akamaru ramen. Only complaint is that chashu was really tough and hard to chew thru. 2) white devil ramen: wayyy to spicy for me and the broth tasted more like laksa with the abundance of coconut milk.
