The Aunty there is very friendly! I had the salted egg pork ribs rice at $6. It taste good and I will definitely return there to try the other dishes!

Their Zhi char is the one best you can find, especially their salted egg pork ribs. But their zhi char only starts after 2 and they close quite early, so reach there early to avoid disappointment

Their economy rice is superb. Recommend their signature Salted egg chicken to go with brown rice. Prefer their economy rice selection to the freshly cooked Zi Char dishes. Ordered their ginger & onion sliced fish ($12) but found the slices to be too thin and it tasted frozen rather than fresh fish. For quality of fish, Maddie’s Kitchen is still the place to go for at Far East Plaza. Still it’s nice to have an economy rice option. Worth returning to; could be the default place for lunch at Far East Plaza along w/ Maddie’s.

This is one of the better mixed vegetable rice. The taste is good and food is delicious. The price is reasonable. However, there is always a queue and seating is limited.

We were famished and the rule of thumb is, most things tastes wonderful when you're hungry. However we were quite disappointed with the taste over what we had at Susan's corner. Our usual eat wasn't opened hence we decided to try Susan's corner. We were welcomed by really hospitable aunties which we greatly appreciate her recommendation and hospitality. We ordered their signature white beehoon & looking over what others were eating, we decided to follow suit and ordered the salted egg yolk pork ribs. Disappointed because the white beehoon is anything but your expectation of popular white beehoon with seafood that's served at many zichar stalls. This was more like the stalls own rendition of white fried beehoon. We were quite puzzled also when we found many curry leaves in the beehoon as well as chilli padi.although we love chilli,finding this in the beehoon just seems weird. As for the curry leaves, we're not sure if it was conveniently added because we also ordered the salted egg pork rib. our verdict is that it is overly salty, rather dry with random ingredients and it lacked fragrance. The salted pork ribs has 0 salted egg taste unfortunately. The meat is well marinated with Hua diao cooking wine but this really doesn't help bringing out the taste of the salted egg and really just tastes like big pieces of salty meat marinated with Hua diao wine. Overall we are quite disappointed with our meal especially being so hungry. I think Susan's corner needs to have a better focus on the tastes of the dishes it wants patrons to taste.

Everytime I come Far East Plaza for lunch on a weekday, there will always a long queue for this store. My curiosity was piqued and wanted to know what was the hype. A great variety of dishes from vegetables, meat and sides. Rice grains is the grainy type. Small dining space, buy 1st then take a seat. Separate queue for takeaway. Was flabbergasted when my 3 Veg 1 Meat was charged at $7.50. Dk how the pricing system works but taste wise pretty average cai fan level. Veg were pretty nice and warm. Ordered the pork salted egg and its rather tough and wet. I rate: 3/5 ? Soup is $1 a bowl which I think is the cheapest really because the ingredients and time taken to boil this actually takes lots of effort. The soup of the day was Black Beans chicken soup. A lot of beans. Soup is piping hot. I rate: 5/5 ?
