Tamoya Udon & Tempura Singapore

Udon is among the best in sg at this price point (with Beyond 30% off). Tempura was not very crispy, but again at this price, sure!

Had a pleasant dinner at Tamoya Udon! Tried the Sanuki Beef Udon which was the best seller. Very delicious with strong beef flavor that al dente udon. Along with kakiage, tempura and croquette were amazing. Would totally recommend the kakiage!! Crispy and sweet from the onion. Also ordered the Black Garlic Tonkotsu Ramen. Flavourful and delicious tender Chashu. Love the bamboo shoot that gives it a nice bite. It would be better if more soup could be given. And also I did not like the ramen as it’s too soft and reminds me of eating meesua instead of ramen. If you are eating here, definitely go for the udon as it’s their specialty. I will order the udon version my next visit. -1 star for the soggy ramen.

Solid bowl of udon. Noodles have a nice texture, the triple egg topping gives it a good umami flavour, beef soup taste good too. Tempura could be better, mackerel tempura is nice. Can’t complain much for the price.

Nice udon place hidden beside the food court at plaza sing. Personally had the sanuki beef egg udon. Texture of udon was good and beef used was tender. Kakiage tasted really good too. Would definitely recommend it. Dad had the ramen but I personally still prefer the udon. Overall, its a nice place to visit when you feel like eating udon and tempura.

Went here during dinner time, needed to queue for for around 15-20 min for seats. Ordered for their new spicy tonkotsu udon, quite nice for its very flavourful broth, whereas it's a bit oily for the kakiage, not really recommended for this tempura.

The Udon and Tempura served is still one of the best in Singapore. Rated a four star due to staff service standard. Staffs at Liang Court are far more polite and friendly with a touch of Japan.

Located on Level 6 of Plaza Singapura, at the old wing next to the Kopitiam Food Court, is what can be considered the best Udon place in Singapore, and at affordable pricing too! Tamoya Udon and Tempura serves up wonderful Udon and provides many delectable sides at extremely affordable pricing for you to choose from. The restaurant does not take reservations so you have got to face a little bit of a queue during lunchtime and dinner but outside of those hours, there isn't much of a queue. Once shown to your seat, you then proceed to the counter to make your order. A more detailed menu with diagrams is attached to the cashier's counter to help in your ordering. All prices here are subject to 7% GST but no 10% Service Charge. Pay after you order. After your order is made, you are provided a beeper and you wait till your beeper goes off to pick up your order from the Pick-Up Counter. Be prepared to have a smile on your face and a warm tummy as you tuck into the one of the best, if not the best, Udon in Singapore. General Verdict: Wonderful comfort food at affordable prices. What else there is to say but our goto restaurant for udon at highly reasonable prices! We ordered our usual pork with egg udon and black garlic udon, both are highly enjoyable with decent portion and amazing umami in their soup broth! A great find that is nestled within Plaza Singapura! Will return often :)
