Not easily accessible and located at one extreme end of the east coast. Travellers to Indonesia (especially batam) transit via this ferry terminal. Hardly any amenities not to mention F&B. Hope they improve on those areas as the covid 19 restriction are gradually lifted, more traffic is expected in time.

Old Ferry terminal. But due to covid, Harbour front centre closed. So have to travel all the way to the east for the ferry terminal. Accessibility also big issue as its very far from any mrt station or interchange unlike Harbour front. Hardly any food or stalls options in the terminal also. So plan ahead for your travels.

Its a major ferry terminal serving regional ferries travelling to Bintan and Batam. It’s about 7 km from Changi airport. A duty free shop, small cafes, a golf store and convenience stores are all available inside the premises. Passengers can enjoy a short break at the cafe or convenience stores before they pass through the security and customs check leading towards the departure hall. A money changer can also be accessed within the terminal. Other basic amenities include clean and comfortable western-style washrooms with a spacious waiting foyer.

Came here via bus 35, from taneh merah MRT. 4 stops away, but no worries about missing the stop, as it literally stops at the ferry terminal. So unless you are asleep or blind LOL Not much to do here, just the super basic things, like check in counter, and counters to buy your tickets. There is no smoking area after immigration clearance. After immigration, no place selling beer, unlike the airport. DFS items are very limited. Besides the limited supplies of wine, champagne, hard liquor, there are no items like SKII etc. Only very very limited brand’s of perfume. I think i counted 3 brand’s only, and no facial products. AND most IMPORTANTLY, at the point of writing this, there are no cigarettes available at the DFS So my suggestions is that, you don’t clear immigration so early, as there is really nothing much to do here

Good ferry terminal for Indonesia ferries. Spot your ferry operator counter quickly and get in queue. This will have a waiting period for the queue. Currently you'll need to show your vaccination certificate, travel insurance, ART test (You'll need PCR if you have traveled outside SGP in last 14 days) apart from tickets and passport. After getting the boarding pass, collect the declaration form for Indonesia and fill it. Go to boarding and proceed through security check and immigration. The ferry usually is delayed boarding (unless you're lucky) and the terminal is crowded. Secure seating and wait. There is a duty free Shop for those interested.

Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal caters Ferries to Indonesia island nearby. Looking at the current Covid situation, this place should have taken advantage of the two solid years during Covid to do some upgrading. It's totally old and needs a makeover badly. There are a few ferry counters (providers) that you can buy your tickets from. There is also a decent cafe before and another after the immigration. One small provision shop before the immigration that sell the necessities. Public bus number 35 does go to Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal. Unfortunately for taxi, Grab, Gojek and others are hard to get during pick hours.

Ferry terminal for international ferry service to Batam, Indonesia. Sadly the service was all but shut down during the pandemic, but some skeleton service seems to have resumed recently. We went there primarily to spot landing aircraft but couldn't see any given the closer runway was not in use. The inside of the ferry terminal was clean, only the 7-11 and one boat agency was open, and the immigration staff seemed to be present in small numbers.
