Ordered their fish and chips that were consumed at the coffeeshop. Everything that was fried was a nice golden brown, but far from the definition of crispy.
The batter for the fish, while tasty, was hard instead of crispy. Attempting to cut it with the metal knife usually results in the fish separating from the batter.
The fries were no better. Not hot, not crispy. The hardness combined with it being shoestring fries made it a 1 star item.
The coleslaw was pretty decent, but I would not go back again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Although I had a fake ribeye steak today at Tenderbest, I'd still give them a 3* as the overall food quality are acceptable and value for money (as at today) for past 20 years serving our neighborhood. Personally I like their brown sauce, cole slaw & some of their menu items like chicken chop spaghetti & nuggets. TB shd amend your menu item to beef steak if you are not using real ribeye.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bought a spring chicken with rice addon. Truly regretted to buy the spring chicken that has this over night taste and smell, the chicken could be left for more than one night. Only taken one bite and the rest to the trash, ended up buying something else.
Terrible experience, not going to buy chicken from here anymore

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fries are over cooked, all are in dark brown colour and super hard to eat. Very disappointed in the food that they serve now, standard is not like before and the price is not cheap as a hawker western in the first place. Not going back ever.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered the beef steak but was shock at the size and thickness of the beef steak. Its not worth the value of $11.90, I can get a decent 200gram beef steak at Char Grill for just $10.90. This is my first and will be my last to patronise this stall.
