★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went to thai village furama riverside on 2may. Arrive 730pm. Slow service, waited 45mins for food to be served. Repeated complain/reminder to staff but no action. Horrible.

Service was so-so, many times we had to call for someone (and it takes some time for them to notice that we need service) for stuff like top-up tea, menu, etc etc. even though there were only like 1-2 tables of customers. Cigarette smell was heavy as it got into the night, not sure if it was the ventilation or what. I am a smoker and even i was annoyed by it. Only reason i went there with my family was cause my old mum saw it being heavily advertised by those old celebrities on FB live or something. I gave in to my mum. Will not return.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I visited this restaurant with some friends and I would have to say that quality of their shark fin soup and abalone rice is second to none. If you’re looking for a Chinese restaurant to dine with your family/friends, I would highly recommend you visit this place. You also have to try their crab vermicelli and achar, I promise that you won’t be disappointed. I’ll definitely be back again with my family this time around. To get there you can walk from Chinatown mrt or drive, they have plenty of parking lots. Thanks Thai village for the amazing experience!

Would definitely able to get the food at half the price and other restaurants
We only headed to the restaurant to give it a try as it was newly opened.
Highly likely will not visit again because it's simply not value for money.
But on hindsight, the restaurant is well decorated with good ambience for dining. Service staff are attentive as well. But not a substantial enough reason for us to visit again.
