The baby care team is caring, patient, attentive to details, professional and greatly helps first time parents like us. We are able to learn techniques on caring for a new born while having sufficient rest ourselves, as we know that our baby is in good hands.

Generally efficient for laundry services. The clothes are collected for washing in the morning and returned usually by night or the next day. Also generally prompt in their response to your requests. You can dial-in from the phone in the room. There is also Netflix to entertain mummies staying indoors to recover. 5 meals served per day (breakfast, lunch, tea break, dinner and supper). For the first week the lunch and dinner consist of mostly pork dishes cooked in various ways. However it gets slightly better after the 2nd week, with a more varied menu including chicken and fish. Their staff performs 12 hour rotating shifts, from 8am to 8pm and 8pm to 8am. There will usually be 3 staff per shift (not including the Malay admin staff Mas) doing the baby sitting, housekeeping and tending to customers at the suite. They have a daily chart whereby they record the baby’s feeding/diaper changing time. I noticed the nannies tend not to feed baby with breast milk (those that mummies store in the fridge) at night, perhaps because baby gets hungry faster when fed with breast milk as compared to formula milk. Some nannies offer useful tips on how to care for a newborn as well as provide updates on baby’s habits. Unfortunately some staff there are rather unprofessional and rude. One staff (Valerie) actually passed some very rude remarks about me in my presence to another staff, Mas. Even though she spoke in Malay, I understood her (she assumed I didn’t understand Malay). I was very upset and it ruined my day. And for the most part of my remaining stay there, I avoided her. I previously had a good impression of Valerie as she appeared friendly and chatty at first (quite busybody though) until I realised she’s actually rather hypocritical - please be wary and do not share too much with her as she will gossip about you and readily share whatever you tell her to the other staff/nannies. Having a black sheep like this around is a real pity as I feel most of the other staff there - Chloe, Amy, Elaine, Mas, Cynthia are polite. Plus the bosses, Reno and Xinni, are warm and personable too. So I hope the management at Clover could at least inform and educate Valerie on her lack of sensitivity and manners.

Best gift for mum and baby. Worth every penny. Both mum and baby were very well taken care of. There wasnt much independent reviews when we first booked a slot so naturally we were quite apprehensive as well, given it was a hefty sum. Here’s our observation and experience and comparison with in-home confinement: 1. Enabled a great start to breast-feeding. On-demand care from lactation masseur. Mummy was half engorged back from hospital, lactation masseur at the centre immediately clear and put mummy on a plan for proper breastfeeding journey. Mummy can check in any time if she’s feeling uncomfortable and get right advice since she is also one of the nannies. 2. Focuses on mummy’s recovery. We didn’t need to care about the right food, household chores, baby’s clothes and needs, washing of bottle - everything is taken care of. 3. We felt baby is better taken care of given there are many nannies around the clock (12hour shift so nannies are more well rested) who eventually grew close to baby, showering him with lotsa love and care. 4. On-site essentials like blue light machine for jaundice, weekly on-site PD visit including jaundice check, and niceties like herbal hair wash and facial, post natal massage, on-demand online medical consultation subscription, baby photoshoot - all part of the package. 5. Baby care tutorials. We learnt throughout the weeks as and when we have energy, how to burp, how to feed, what to do, what not to do,right massage to relieve baby gas, bathing, etc. We took our time preparing the right stuff at home by observing what works in the centre ie. what lotion, flow of diaper changing, right clothes. Other notable mentions: rooms and bathrooms are comfortable, wifi with Netflix, cafeteria is cosy, there is parking but only one slot at the centre for loading/unloading only, food is easy to get in the Siglap stretch. Tip: Premium room cost $2k more, which comes up to about +$70 more a day but I personally thought it is worth it - more space, separate walk-in desk for wfh if needed. Everything for baby is provided for (ie. we packed 0months clothes ended up didnt use). If you are driving, can consider parking opposite; there's paid and single yellow line parking. if you would like sheltered parking, there's siglap centre OR friend's condo OR transfer HDB season parking (nearest i could find is the multi storey carpark at Chai chee HDB - code is B71).
