★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was shopping for cny goodies in taka when i smell a very nice sweet smell n first i tot is the bakery stall cooking some sugary stuff nearby but after walking a couple of rounds i discovered that the nice smell is from one of the stall selling cny cookie one storey below. I went down to the stall n this lady ask me to try lychee kumquat than i realised the nice smell is lychee. I tried n straight away bought a tin w/o question. Although the price is on the high side ($25), but is worth it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Been buying since they first started at Esplanade. But it's really quite premium so will only pamper myself once in a while and usually during Xmas and CNY when they offer new festive flavours. They make really nice gift too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awesome gift to bring when you are travelling abroad or little something to bring home from Singapore (if you are tired of Kaya and laksa). The cookies are hand made in Singapore, and a relatively small can/jar for ease of travel. Cookies also comes in many representatives Singaporean flavours (perhaps stereotypically so).
Would recommend for those who can afford a little luggage space. I packed the tin can in luggage and they survived the trip fine.
