He then put me on treatment, and after almost a year under his care - my symptoms have almost disappeared and fell SO MUCH BETTER! I'm healthier, stronger, thinner and so much happier since I started seeing him. Couldn't recommend more!

Dr Chia Su-Ynn is one of the worst specialist I have seen - curt, unsympathetic, impatient and snobbish. At one point in time during consultation, she impatiently placed a notepad and pen in front of me, telling me to take notes lest she had to repeat herself. Do not even attempt to ask her a question about your concerns as you will get an exasperated reaction from her. Everything a doctor should not be.

Previously, the nurses were warm and very helpful, but recently some of the new nurses were rather rude and impatient. I am rather disappointed. There was a point of time when I actually went in on a workday at 430pm, but because my dr was not in office, I was initially turned down for blood test.

She was extremely empathetic and patient when I explained the background of my case, and reassured me that any detail I provided was valid even when I felt that I was wasting her time. After that, she explained the thyroid system to me, very clearly and concisely. She is able to break complicated concepts into an easily understandable summary. After ordering some tests, she sent me a very clear explanation of my diagnosis. Great bedside manner! I’m glad I do not need the services of an endocrinologist right now, but should I need then in future, it is clear that she is my top choice!

She is also very knowledgeable and keen to share her years of wisdom about dietary/lifestyle changes for me to achieve better health, physically and mentally. Expect a very focused, encouraging and efficient style without mollycoddling. The administrative staff and other clinic assistants are also kind, supportive and helpful. All in all, a very positive experience.
