The Wharf - The Wharf

My wife and I tried the claypot chicken Rice as well as the Thai Beef Rice Noodle soup. Both were disappointing, and the wait staff were trying to clarify if we wanted Rice or Noodle??!? Service was very slow as well. My son who had the spaghetti bolognese gave it a 6/10.

Quality of food is isn’t superb and prices are steep for what you get. But the view of the marina is nice and it’s a convenient stop for a meal before your boating trip.

The night barbecued food is not bad, though the place can get really shorthanded during dinner time. You have to raise your hands several times just to get someone to notice you. Definitely can improve on the service.

Never coming back again. 1) Floor staff was either busy clearing tables and attending to walk in customer rather than to the seated customers waiting to order. 2) Waited for 1 hour with only 1 dish was served to us and drink was also missed out. 3) Staff gave a "I don't really care attitude if your order is here or not" after realizing they forgot about our orders. Not apologetic at all!!!

We decided to try The Wharf last night for dinner and it left a bad taste in our mouths on two accounts: 1. Wait staff insisted that I had ordered beef beehoon soup instead of seafood when it was delivered. No problem, I was willing to consider that it may have been a miscommunication, and my toddler son was willing to eat it. But... 2. The wait staff asked for our credit card before preparing our order and retained the card (physically) throughout the duration of the meal. We have never had this done to us anywhere, not even in fine dining restaurants in Switzerland. Moreover, I was not able to find this policy clearly posted or explained anywhere on the premises. One could, if so inclined, take this as a grave insult before even considering the possibility of misuse of the card. The saving graces were the portion size and flavour, which were both decent for the price paid. As this club is primarily meant for members, I suppose perhaps the staff see no reason to treat outsiders with any special care - which I will be sure to consider when looking for or recommending dining options in this area in future.

Came here for the laksa but was told it was sold out. Lamb shank and curry fish head was just ok. Nothing to come back for. But the Marina view was nice.

Excellent food, great ambience with full view of the Marina. All the dishes stood out and the portions were extremely generous. Nice place to chill out and it is not crowded.
