Best fish ball noodles in the area and one of the best in Singapore. Long queues to be expected. Taste has not changed since it began selling in block 65 since the 80s.

Join the queue at 12:30pm on a weekday. Was 11th in line. The queue was moving very slow. It took 40mins before reaching my turn?. Run by an old couple in their 70s. Their movement is fine, just it took them very long time to prepare per serving. Upon leaving the stall i noticed 2 others in queue shaking their head ?. The roasted meat/rice stall beside actually served approx. 21-23 pax within the same waiting time. Overall, their noodle taste a bit on the bland side. Portion is slightly small for a $3 price. There are 4 other noodle stalls within the hawker centre.

Was there for breakfast and can you believe it I queue up for close to 30 mins for my food. The food stall serve fish ball noodle and laksa. If you are craving for laksa, you can skip it. The laksa there is below average but the fishball noodle is good. Please order the dry fishball noodle when you are there. Each bowl of the noodle was prepared with passion, that explain why the long wait. Will I return for more. Yes I will.

Chance upon this stall the previous time I was here, noticed that they have a long queue. Decided to come back here again to try this stall, reached here closed to 11am and I already noticed the long queue when I was approaching the stall. this stall is run by elderly couple, apart from fishball noodle, they also served laksa. I waited closed to 20mins before it was my turn to order. Price for the noodle starts from SGD$3 onwards. Ordered the SGD$4 portion, the bowl of noodle came with fishball, minced meat, sliced fishcake and fish paste dumpling. noodle was nicely cooked, texture of noodle is very springy. lard was very fragrance and crispy as well. Unfortunately, the noodle is on the bland side and portion of noodle is actually quite little.Overall, not bad. would actually be better if the noodle is more seasoned.

There was about 7 people in the queue before me, hence decided to join in for the fishball noodles. It took more than 40 mins before reaching my turn. Conclusion: the long queue form is not because of the taste but more because the elderly couple tending to the stall took quite some time to prepare each orders. Order the standard default size and was quite dissapointed that the portion is quite small. Nothing interesting to comment about, just a small normal bowl of normal fishball noodles. Friend ordered laksa, and similarly commented on the small portion of it too. Taste was alright for the laksa as well, but nothing special to comment about it too. Don't think will queue for it again, not quite worth to queue for.

One of my go to fish all noodles stall (if the queue is not too long). You have to be very patient. The old couples will take orders 1 by 1 & cook to the perfection. Always order $4 + $1 ingredients. Noodles are perfectly cooked and the sauces are very old school. Tell the uncle if you do not like ketchup (always have to remind him not to add). Although fish balls and cakes are not handmade, but they are good. The fish dumpling is a bit disappointing though. Soup is in the sweet side. with $5 serving, it is average.
