Been patronizing them for years. Not that I enjoy their food but rather that they are the most convenient vicinity wise whenever I need a quick bite. My observation is that they usually let the newbies prepare the foods hence the inconsistency in their food quality. By the time they improved their skillset they also became more senior and the newer staffs will take over the food preparing role and the inconsistency continues. The only consistency in all these is that their price is constantly increasing and the food portion constantly shrinking. They epitomizes the soulless of a chain stores food.

Always crowded and busy but the tea here taste good. It’s not really the same at every outlet. The staff can even remember my order before I even open my mouth to speak. Awesome staff. Who would expect such Ace service at a kook stall.

The place has a few flies flying around as you dine. The behind-the-counter and sink area looks ill-kept with 'aged' stains. No buzzer issued, and you are expected to be alert to look out for them shouting "eggs ready!". They don't quite care who hasnt collected the stuff. If you don't collect, it's your own pasar. The place wasnt even crowded.

The staff were friendly and there wasn't much of a queue during lunch. I got the laksa set which was very good value for money. For $8.30 you get a cup of coffee, some kaya butter toast, and laksa. Don't expect this to taste like katong laksa, but for the convenience it makes an okay meal

really bad experience. it used to be but into 9 piece, so you can use the stick to eat without dirting ur hand. but now it didn't cut through, and the whole piece was connected, hard to eat. with all the sweet source, the hand was really dirty and sticky. i asked the stuff and she just said no big deal, use two sticks. btw, the menu says multigrain bread, but served as white bread

The bee hoon cannot make it. The normal kopi shop one tastes so much better and economical. So for Toastbox at this branch, better to just stick to their signature bread toast and drink.
