Another outlet at Chinatown close at 8pm but 7pm no more egg tart.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I wanted to buy the egg tarts as I’m a regular at the Maxwell outlet but to my horror I saw a huge housefly sitting on the tart. If u know how houseflies could lay eggs within seconds on any food they sit on you’d probably react the same way as I did.. When I told the auntie there’s a fly she just said” oh it went inside” that’s all. I know it’s expensive to change the whole thing but they closed the doors of the display which means the fly could have sat on all the tarts ... I said “ it’s ok I don’t want already “.. and I left ... I would never buy from them again ... the maxwell one seems more hygienic and professional ...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Got the egg tart and it was delicious! Slightly pricey for 1 piece ($2) but it was flakey and slightly buttery. Would definitely have been even better if it was hot. The egg custard filling was also sweet, complemented by the tart which was not too hard. First time buying from here, and they were restocking the egg tarts when I went. Quite an array of items available, but have yet to try the others. Presentation looks good, so will consider coming back to try other things

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For some odd reason the staff decided to tell us delivery wasn’t available for us when we purchased TWENTY boxes of biscuits. Only for us to be told delivery was available one the day we went down to make our collection.
Not commenting on the taste of the products. I’m sure they taste good but you’re better off getting your large orders somewhere else.
