Booked a birthday surprise cut + shave for the boyfriend, really easy booking process and speedy replies from the Customer Service team running messenger. His review is as follows: Davey Todd, the Angel Barber of Club Street (Homage to Sweeney Todd) As I approached the meek hallway of club street, the words in white stared back at me; β€œTruefitt & Hill”. I’d heard that name before, but never had I the means to walk in, that is until my queen Sarah had me a shave and haircut there. I entered the store, my eyes quickly glancing at antique posters and novelties. The receptionist greeted me politely and offered me a glass of water. β€œSparkling please”, I said. I was then brought into a barbers chair, in a private room, and that chair was no less than a throne, albeit decked in leather instead of sapphires, rubies and garnets. A kindly young gentleman, strapped in a sharp vest and white shirt, tie to complete the look, stepped into the room. β€œHi Sir, I am Dave, your barber. May I take your mask please?” I was taken aback. Not because he had the same name I did, but rather, no barber had asked me to take my mask before. After stashing my phone and belongings aside, I took my first step into heaven. Dave gently angled my throne parallel to the ground, and out of the blue, the gentle touch of water seeped through the fines of my hair, complete with nutmeg scented shampoo. β€œThe works”, I thought. After the wash was done, Dave talked me through what he would be doing to my hair. Though the singlish tinge in his accent permeated his words, this was as close to a β€˜barber einstein’ as could be. As he began to fade my hair to my specifications, his masterful expertise was apparent. I felt NOTHING, yet my hair was taking its magnificent shape. When he was done, he leaned me back and dropped the chair lower for the main course - the supreme shave. At first, he rubbed what smelled like lemongrass oil and massaged the mass of my face, cheekbones and eyes no less. It was then that I realised - I must be dead. This is heaven. This is what it's supposed to feel like. After a succulent massage, he placed the finest fabric hot towel over my face, and continued his laborious massage of my face. After an eternity in bliss, he removed the towel and commenced shaving. After a thorough application of shaving cream, he began on the straight razor. I felt nothing. I thought he was taking a break. Yet, with every masterful stroke, my beard was disappearing, right down to the roots. Yet I felt nothing. β€œHe must be a ghost!” I thought to myself. After 30 mins of the most thorough shave, I thought we were done, but how wrong was I. He then started the most angelic massage of my head, neck and face. In absolute elation, I shed a silent tear. This must be it. This is heaven. This must never end. Unfortunately after 10 minutes it did, and upon staring at my reflection in the mirror, I no longer recognised myself. Who was this handsome man? I thanked Davey Todd profusely, and left Truefitt and Hill, a new man. This is what it must mean to be king. This is the high life. This is Davey Todd, the angel barber of club street.

Wow where to begin. I’m on a 2 month long trip and my barber has been cutting my hair for the past 10+ years so trusting someone else to cut my hair is a nightmare. I stopped by Truefitt and got a cut by a gentleman named Dave. The price for the cut was almost double than what I’m used too in Canada @75$ but wow was it worth it. The experience from the beginning till the end was spectacular. The professionalism Dave showed was on point. Would highly recommend loved the cut. Thanks Dave!

My 1st time to Truefitt and Hill at 9 Ann Siang Road. Attended by Razif. Kept my beard since circuit breaker and unsure what was suitable for my face and Rafiz did a wonderful job to get me back to shape and look younger. 1 and half hour really enjoyed being pampered by him until my partner was so jealous of me being so pampered by him..... excellent treatment. Haircut was superb with the hot towel and cold towel treatment plus massage and the shaving of my beard and moustache and all the fine hair was done so immaculate. Excellent job. Thank you so much Razif for the great job and the receptionist Amelia for being so nice to speak to my partner over the phone to get an appointment for me.

Interesting experience to a true barber place. Takes you back to the old English barber where you can get a clean shave and cut. Truly transforming. Very relaxed environment.

First time using them and last, actually used to go to the Sultan of Shave which is same owner I understand and no problem going back to Sultan of Shave at all. The biggest issue is this shop is all brand and no substance, it is the first time in my life I pay $100 for Hair cut and Beard Trim and then told sorry proper haircut is supposed to be $75 and Beard Trim is no razor only clippers for $45 so the traditional shave is $80. $155 versus $100. This is Asia not London, it is a disgrace to get a high cost haircut and low cost service. The Barber is a good man and professional, he explained well and did his best to represent the company but my feelings are they are not free to fully use their talents and skills unless customer bleeds money, sister company Sultan of Shave you get more service, more professional style and attention to detail with the same cost of getting a mainstream below industry average service at this all brand no substance outlet. Like Jonny said "keep walking"

This place is terrible. Not only did the barber ruin my hair which had taken months to grow out, but on complaining, the replacement barber validated the ruined haircut which was not at all in line with my instructions. Very disappointing

Shockingly amateurish. The beard colouring was artificial and I had to instruct the stylist to make changes again and again. Even the blow dry was bad, which takes effort. Over priced and below average. First and last visit
