I was here some friends yesterday afternoon. Ordered a main course to share with my hubby. The item in the picture is the Christmas set, which comes with a drink of your choice and mushroom soup. The meal tastes pretty good, There was only 1 prawn in the set. Wished there was more. However ambience is not so nice as every surrounding table was talking very loudly. The staff had to go around asking everyone to lower their volume. There was a slight wait of around 10 minutes for a table for 5 when we came around 2:30pm. Date of visit: 4 Dec 2021

The waitress serves food to my table without a tray, with her hands almost touching the food. Through my dining experience, only 1 waiter was wearing a smile. The pork from the burger tasted frozen.

This famous Hong Kong Tea Restaurant as advertised is so famous, but personally I don't feel the foods is fantastic and the menu also not much of a choice that I look forward for. The service are good and fast. The ceiling due to condensation is dripping so be careful of your dishes and drinks when you eating. The noodle dish I order not bad all are just nice and the pork are well good, very soft and tasty. The wanton is good but the soup like lots of pepper and over kill.

Most famous HK styled breakfast or all day diner | The noodles, milk tea and grills a must order here. Condense milk buns too. Authentic HK diner decor too. Service is quick, clean and efficient. Do order a few dishes to share as portion is generous here

The food is really good, definitely worth trying but the staffs are not really friendly. Basically you have to scan a QR code on your table and order, then the staff will bring you the food. The only reason I have given four star is that staff are not friendly and they avoid any interaction.

Visited Tsui Wah again to try to feed the longing for HK/Macau Cha Can Teng (cafe) craving, and it was a mixed bag of emotions. Overall, the food was palatable at best, hence the 3-star rating. It didn’t wow me, nor bring me back to HK/Macau, save the Pork Bun - which is the ONLY standout. The next best item was the Mixed Grill set, but for the price tag of $27 before taxes, it’s a dear price to pay for a meal for 1. The other items ordered were largely passable, but have obviously tweaked to others’ tastes. It is not consistent with what I am accustomed to when I had it when I lived in HK. The drinks were also overly sweet despite my selection of less sweet. And it is odd that they do not allow less ice, with less sweet (only one or the other) under drinks customisations. So you either end up with a bland drink or overly sweet one. The service was responsive but some of the servers remind me of HK servers in their less than courteous demeanour. I would accept the consistent HK experience in service if the food taste matched that of HK as well. Overall - would come back again only if I have a bad enough craving, and even then, I would just order the pork bun, and maybe a $1.50 Dasani.

Love the food although service can improve a bit more. Male cashier should be more friendly with smile. Staff should also be trained to give bowls or side plates if it's meant to be shared. On the whole food is good. Service needs improvement.
