I joined Umove fitness/Pilates plus at safra mount Faber for 3 session trials comprising Pilates core, Pilates Mat and calisthenics. The instructors’ knowledge and patient explanation on full work of body movements far exceeds my expectation. I am continuing with the classes beyond my trial period. I feel it is really good value for money ? . I enjoyed my classes and believe you would too. See you around.

For those just getting started stepping into the world of calisthenics and mobility exercises, I recommend starting your journey with UMove. The classes are more holistic to incorporate a balance of strength and coordination exercises, with proper demonstration from instructors. Whatever that they ask you to do, they are able to do it themselves, so it is not merely lip service. Free of judgement too, as the instructors are very friendly and will assist accordingly. Exercises are also tuned to our individual fitness levels and aimed at healthy and attainable progression. Overall a very interesting take on bodyweight and balance exercises. On a side note, I had bought the trial package but unfortunately sustained a calf injury from my other workouts recently. Upon reaching out to them to check if my friend could use the credits on my behalf instead, the response was swift and the team rendered immediate assistance on the matter with no questions asked. Really appreciate the good customer service. Highly recommend UMove to anyone looking at improving mobility and getting stronger. ☺️

Michel is not only incredibly knowledgeable about mobility but he made class incredibly fun and enjoyable. I learnt a lot about the importance of simple stretches and how a little effort everyday will help with my mobility in the long run. The studio was very clean and they implemented measures to ensure the safety of their students. Thank you!

Calesthenic and mats core strength pilates certainly helps enhance my core, joints, limbs and body strength. Under the close professional coaching by Michel Velasco, he guides me patiently with the right technique, posture and explains the science behind every movement. These exercises are encouraged for adults of all ages, so long as you have the will to want to be physically stronger or master any movement technique, Michel is there to guide/coach you to achieving your goals.

I really recommend this place if you are interested in trying out calisthenics and handstands. I started with Michel before the new COVID-19 restrictions kicked in, and found him to be an amazingly patient coach, willing to work at the skill level that you arrive at. We moved outdoors after the restrictions, and in some ways, it was even a more interesting experience as you get use these functional movements outdoors. I will say that this is a very different, healthy kind of movement exercise if you have been mostly doing weights or yoga. This is a good place to start you off if you are interested in animal movement, or curious about the movement fitness. SAFRA members get a discount on their 3-session trial (60 bucks), which is already heavily discounted in the first place.

Michel, the trainer was engaging throughout the Umove fitness session for better joint health. He showed us the different stretching methods for the different core muscles and joints so that we can achieve more flexibility over time. Flexibility and age are not correlated.

Attended the complimentary Umove Mobility Session that packed various functional movement and routines, showing us how to help ourselves maintain or improve our mobility/flexibility as we age. Great thanks to warm and professional instructor Michel for delivering this session, providing the video resources generously, and sharing his tips for us to achieve flexibility progressively. It gives me motivation and shows me possibility of being flexible again till 80 years old!
