the only reason why I would give one more star is because the lady volunteer when you first come into the bank is very nice and tries to help. so my mother got a queue number and was told that it would be about 1h waiting time so we went elsewhere first and came back about 45 mins later to find that her number had been already called. so she went to find the lady volunteer who then ushered her to one of the counters and told the staff to serve my mother after she had finished serving the current customer. the current customer finished and left and my mother's number still wasn't called, the staff even called the next number in queue. ridiculous amount of waiting time and they don't even have the courtesy to call my mother's number asap when missed queue numbers should be given priority should the person eventually turn up as sometimes delays may happen. my mother had to personally go up to the counter in order to be served when there was no one else in the queue.

Joke of the day, opening an account need 2hrs waiting time when its not busy. 3 counters is close. The worst branch of all UOB banks.

Experience was rather ephemeral. The service was quick in an awful way. This was the first time I experienced the process of opening a bank account without even receiving a bank card or even instructions to apply for the internet banking procedures. The reason offered was that the staff are busy. I couldn't agree more when even the certs Cisco officer had to oblige herself for concierge services of taking the customers' temperature. If efficiency was the word of the day, you certainly won't miss it with this UOB branch. The explanation was phenomenally quick. I would reckon that even the nearby Boon Lay MRT train couldn't keep up with the speed at which the staff regurgitated his well-memorised facts as he zipped past the explanation of the bank application at a makeshift desk far from the quaint, decadent cubicles that appear far too posh for a person like me. Perhaps there was a dress code expected of a customer that I didn't know of? Regardless, with the rapidity of the process, all I could muster a memory off was that no amount of deposit was required to be placed on the day itself. This is really unprecedented, a pioneering feature of the local banking scene it seems. So much for me manually withdrawing $2000 in preparation for making an initial bank deposit. Or could my paltry deposit amount, alongside my humble shorts and austere blue shoes have betrayed my apparent net worth in the eyes of some? Regardless, I left the bank confused with an extra $2000 undeposited money. I ended up having to deposit $2000 alongside all my annual worth of salary into my other OCBC Multiplier account instead. It seems that OCBC Jurong Point was less busy that day.

WORST customer service in all the banks ive ever dealt with. I want to open a new saving account, they told me will take 2 to 3 days and will call me when its ready to come set up ibanking and get cards. Waited 1 week, no call. Have to manually go down to the branch to confirm. Next wanted to apply for credit card. They told me will take 1 to 2 days for approval. Will call me when ready. Wait until the end of the week still no call so i have to go down to the branch again to ask. Turns out they aborted the application process and didnt even inform me at all. No call no message no email. I told them to restart the application process. They told me will take 1 day. Wait another week i finally receive a message saying they need additional information to apply for credit card. I just gave up and closed my account with the bank that day. Now 2 weeks after i close the account, they call me asking for the information for the credit card application. Such excellent and fast customer service, never before seen in any other banks.

Not recommended for this bank. Waited over an hour just to open a fixed deposit account. Slow service. Better to go elsewhere. Products are good but service worst than Malaysian bank

New application, got a saving account but have to join in the queue just to activate and collect ATM card. Moreover, you have to use the ATM to register for online banking. Way to behind time!.
