Best Japanese restaurant in Singapore

S	Sim Leng Ng on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stumbled upon this place whilst looking for a place for 2+2 i.e. parents and 2 children to dine in. Very good value promotion and we ordered ox tongue and garlic fried rice in addition to the set. My teenagers enjoyed the BBQ. Owner and servers were super friendly and accommodating. Hope they will stick around!!
T	Tan Zher on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ one of the most negative bbq experiences I’ve ever encounter, restaurant was barely half full and yet they took a long time 45mins - 1 hour to provide raw food on a platter. Platter for 5 was like a platter for 2 or 3, asked the lady if the garlic fried rice was sufficient to share amongst 5 pax she said yes when the rice came it was just equivalent to one persons portion. Overall a bad experience would not go back to eat.

N	Nana on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered a Platter for 3 (consist of premium wagyu, wagyu beef and kurobuta pork for $88) but the portion and meat given was not per description which was pretty deceiving. Wagyu beef was substituted with chicken instead, and the server changed them only when we probe further. Neither does the portion seems like 100g/80g per cut as described, more lightly to be 50g instead. Service was painstakingly slow during lunch hour. Look at my photo! Does it look like a platter for three? Evidently, we will NOT be returning.
R	Ray Siem on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent Yakiniku... ordered beef short ribs and pork jowl.. like the pork jowl best as it is very tasty & juicy. The kimchi is a bit too spicy for my liking. The potato salad, on my 1st visit the week before, was awesome. Service is also good, and surprisingly.. not many patron, perhaps bcoz they just opened 3 months back in the midst of heightened alert.
J	Jeffrey Wang on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Saw they had a beef yakininku special 1:1, so thought,”why not? Give it a try”. Headed on down late lunch hour and the restaurant was mostly empty. Ordered and they brought a live charcoal brazier. Wow, started well. Then the food came and was a tad disappointed as the protein looked a little small. There was also a salad and soup, with rice. The beef wasn’t seasoned and they gave some dip. Taste wise, was a little on the bland side and big thing to me, was the portion was small, so left still looking for something else to eat. Salad was good tho, anyways, the dressing. Probably will pass on a return trip.

I took their 3-types of kurobuta special which, very regrettably, was tough, extremely peppery and didn't really taste of anything except pure pepper. The food ended up being quiet difficult to enjoy and very expensive. I don't like leaving negative reviews but I did not enjoy my meal at all. I hope you can improve the way you prepare your meat so that it can be enjoyed better.

Beef Udon was also super good, taste very homely and authentic. Excellent service staff too! So happy to be here and will be back when I want to treat myself to something good ?!!! Beer had good deals too !
