Wholesome Paws - 5 Lichfield Rd

The shop owners and helpers are both very concerning people especially towards our pets when I brought them into the shop to buy some food and showering. They are very knowledgeable and willingly shared their knowledge.

Friendly, knowledgeable and prompt. Barley got his corgi butt, and also smells better than us after his groom.

We have been to wholesome paws a total of 3 times as we read about the "good" reviews on google. We have a long haired miniature dachshund. On our very first visit, they did a great job but the groomer was no longer working there by the time we came on the 2nd visit. The 2nd visit, our pup's grooming was average. It was done by a new female groomer. However, we still decided that we can continue coming back for another visit just to see if it will be better the next time. The 3rd visit, we met another new groomer named Roland who is supposedly at this outlet 4 out of 5 days (we have not seen him before during the last 2 visits). After this session and paying a hefty $75 for this quality, we decided that we will not be back again (see picture)

Have been to Wholesome Paws for grooming twice, and for context, my dog is a 7 year old poodle. The first grooming session was great, and hence we went back for the second time. However, the unpleasant experience began when we tried to book for the third time via whatsapp, and the shop told us the below: From Wholesome paws: If the dog is aggressive, we will have no choice but to put a muzzle on him, and will not groom his face 2. Please refrain from allowing your dog to pee at the pillar outside of the shop as he was 'allowed' to pee the last time While I understand the inconvenience of dog pee-ing at public places, but imagine the poor dog being at grooming for >3hours and been holding it in as he is trained not to pee indoor, and needing to release when he gets outside. For point 1, I have since brought my dog to Animal Arts Academy, and they were able to groom him with no such issue. Overall, very disappointed with Wholesome Paws and would not recommend.

Love their creative & wholesome birthday cakes. We order cakes from Wholesome Paws every year cos my doggies simply love them. Moreover, they don't get tummy upset after the feasting.

If there was a zero star I would have given it. For the love of your dogs, Never ever go to this place for grooming. They wanted to charge me extra just because they claimed to have spotted a tick on my dog. They send me a photo of a tick i. I wonder if they have scammed others as well. 2 fat ladies started shouting at me and raising their voice that my dog caused them to use some 'special' cleaning solution clean the grooming room. Then, they said they have to protect other customers. Rubbish. Just say u want extra money for your pockets? U are running a business and yet super lousy attitude. Thoroughly disappointed despite being recommended by others. Handle yourself and your attitude first before u handle animals. They ended off by shouting like crazy ladies. Let's talk about their grooming. It's not fantastic. Look at the unevenness of the shave. I have been to so many groomers. Not once have I met groomers with such poor attitude.
