When the TEL Stage 3 opens, this will connect Woodlands to the Marina Bay area, as well as Orchard, Outram Park and Stevens.

This is a very well used train station on the north south line. This station is very crowded at peak hours and sometimes it’s difficult to use the wider gantry for prams as it is used by regular folks as it is more convenient for them. The station staff are very polite and very efficient. The station is very well connected to the temporary bus interchange and the shopping mall and has 24 hour eateries close by.

Although this is an MRT station but it is also a central because here there are a variety of fast food restaurants selling different types of local and western food. And this place is usually crowded.

Woodlands MRT within walking distance to bus interchange will link to train station to Malaysia in near future. Now become the interchange between NS North South Line and TE Thomson East Coast Line. Covered pathway to Causeway Point Civic Centre with plenty of dinning shopping banking supermarkets library cinemas electronic entertainments groceries sundries postage services community centre and amenities nearby. Walking distance to AI Ameen Eating Corner Yammy Food Link and KPT Drinks Woodlands. Walking distance to breezy greenery away from busy cityscapes including Woodlands Square Admirlty Park Playground Woodlands Ave 7 Park Connector Woodlands Skatepark Treetrail Treehaus Park Woodlands Town Park East and Mandai Tekong Park. Tidy orderly relaxing atmosphere cosy comfy welcoming ambience for romantic intimates groups students expats locals visitors and families..

Today at 8.30pm my friend was uncomfortable and she felt like vomiting in the toilet. I was dumbfounded as I do not know what I can do to make her feel better. Luckily, the whole SMRT made an effort to help us by providing warm water and oilment for my friend. We are thankful and appreciative of your kind acts! Thank you very much!!

.....Woodlands MRT station houses both the North-South Line (NS9) and Thomson-East Coast Line (TE2)....combining the old NS9 station with TE2.

New-ish TEL part takes quite a bit of walking from the old NS line. But it looks extremely high tech. Maybe cos it's new and not very much in use. Train frequency is also very low (~10min) for a weekend lunchtime period. Time will tell. But for the time being, enjoy the new station :)

Interchange station between the North South & Thomson East Coast Line. Will be reviewing the North South line side of the station. This is a MRT station that has a large selection of retail shops such as Starbucks, Jolibee, teh tarik cartel, Cheers and many more. The number of shops in a MRT station here is for sure one of the highest. It is also connected to the Woodlands Integrated Transport Hub which is located 1 floor below the station. With alot of amenties nearby such as causeway point, woods square , WITH etc, foot traffic on the concourse level is very high.
