★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Old school coffee made by the gnarled hands of grumpy old people. What's not to love?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Aunty recognize me and was surprise I came in the morning. I told her I miss her coffee and she so happy. Albeit in their golden age, they are still working so hard for a living. I guess they love what they do and do what they love.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The coffee aroma is strong and nice. Kaya toast makes good combi to go along with. Manned by elderly and they do accept digital payment too!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Xiang Chang Coffee Shop has been my go-to coffee stall at Amoy Street Food Centre whenever I cycle here in the morning. The auntie has been running the stall for at least 39 years as of 2021 and has good memory too.
The coffee's brewed with a traditional charcoal fire. While the kaya toast is made with a toaster, it was served with chilled butter and one of my favourites. I prefer the kaya toast here over the more famous Ah Seng Hai Nam Coffee upstairs which is a thinner version of the kaya toast (a personal preference).
