★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Spacious, nice and clean environment. Friendly staff and the food is decent. Its teochew style BKT is pepperish with good portion of meat. The youtiao is crispy and very good. Convenient parking space across the road.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visited this place at around 8pm. By then the 排骨汤 (pork ribs soup) and 肉骨汤 (spare ribs soup) were sold out.
Ended up ordering the prime rib soup and sliced pork soup. The soup is peppery and spicy, prime rib was quite hard and difficult to eat, whereas sliced pork is really soft and easy to chew. Perhaps cos we were sitting near the air-con, our soups got cold pretty quickly. :(
But one great thing is that the service was excellent. Soups were refilled regularly, we could catch the attention of the service staff quite easily.

The slice pork was hm…. Too flat taste and while it’s great for those that don’t like bones
The vinegar knuckle is not sour and I like the fact that it’s not fatty at all!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food is not bad. Soup is not too peppery nor herbal. Side dish is not bad. Service is good as they will keep refilling your soup. Parking is a issue so you'll need to park opposite and walk across the road.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's our first visit to this BKT place and we went away with a very positive impression. The broth was very tasty with the right amount of peppery flavour to it, and the pork slices were very tender and soft and served in generous portions. We also ordered the youtiao and braised tau kwa and they were very nice too - youtiao had a nice crisp bite to it and did a great job of soaking up the broth; the tau kwa was soft and nicely braised. The wait staff were prompt in refilling the broth and I like that it was served piping hot each time. Best of all, the prices are reasonable and the place is air conditioned. ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The restaurant has this old school feel and getting rare these days as restaurants tend to have very elaborate interior design. Serving is generous, and the steam fish looks and tastes very home cooked! My wife was reminiscing about her childhood memory, how her Ah Ma would prepare this and how she used to hate it but now just misses it very much.
Overall experience is good and price is also in the expected range.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice environment with herbal+peppery Bak ku teh that’s refillable, however bak ku teh soup wasn’t that impressive compared to what I’ve tasted and gets cold fast as it’s served in air conditioned restaurant. Pork trotters was amazing, meat was soft, tender and it falls right off the bones! Fried You Tiao was definitely fried upon order as it was crispy. Price is pretty reasonable and service was great! Will revisit if I’m around the area again

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not bad if you like the peppery taste but personally I'm used to the herbal taste like our neighbouring country people do theirs.
Some of the dishes on the higher side price to some but meat is soft and well boiled. Generous serving of side dishes as per picture. Nice fried dough fritters. Would return to try other mains and sides.
