Ordering any dish here with the fried fish is a bargain. The fish soup, however, is on the mild side. Ordering during off peak will give you a higher chance of getting your fried fish nice, hot and crispy.

Tom Yum Fried Fish soup ($4) is a must try, often sells out early. The generous fish pieces are fried in a crispy batter and is paired with an addictive chilli. The normal soup is a good alternative.

They're located at the corner of the food centre, which makes things easier to find. For the price, you cannot really complain. The portions they serve are extremely generous. Had the tom yum fried fish with rice, and thoroughly enjoyed my meal. The fried fish is extremely crispy, fresh, and meaty. No questions asked, probably one of the best fried fishes that I've had in Singapore. They don't even mix the fish up into the soup, which says a lot about the effort they put into ensuring the fish doesn't end up soggy. The tom yum soup, is fragrant, tangy, and refreshing for a lunch meal. One down side is probably the weather, this soup will be super appropriate for a cold rainy day, or if you're enjoying it in an air conditioned room. If not, take it slow and steady. The rice is probably also something you'll see on numerous tables. It's not a simple white rice, but they do it with vegetables, dried shrimps, and some soya sauce. Not the easiest to find these days in hawker centres, but they still have it served here.
