Very impressed with the Kway Chap which was being sold on this stall as well. The soup base is herbal base and is very unique to this stall. Must try as I would consider this dish excellent and the dish is very innovative!

At Havelock Hawker Centre, probably the longest queue is always the TV featured Kway Chup, next the Char Kway Teow, and then the Laksa. Still, if you look at the tray return stations and the red coloured dishes people are feeding from, you will know this stall also has their faithful followings. Looking at their glistening ducks, offals, neat and tidy Chilli offering and a short queue, I dived right in. $3 doesn't get you much these days yet a bowl of dry duck noodles with soup and twin chilli mix to boot, beat Yu Kee anytime I must say. Service is prompt, fast and efficient. You don't wait long for your noodles. Presentation look perfect and I tucked in. First thing first, the duck is nicely braised, boneless and tender. Good skin to meat ratio, lovely slices with good savoury notes, a herbal and soy fragrance. Not the best, but definitely good braised duck at value, good portioning too. Noodles were perfectly executed, Al dente and no alkaline tastes. A little watery and a little short on the crispy shallots but that's easily forgiven when you stir in the mixed savoury chilli and tangy chilli. Hell I can eat the noodles with the chilli mix on its own. The accompanying soup is herbal not unlike Yu Kee and not as oily. Comforting to go with the noodles. Definitely a tasty, value bowl of braised duck noodles.
