Tu Tu Kueh is a heritage snack that is loved by many for its bite-size pillow-soft consistency filled with Coconut or Peanuts. These steamed rice cakes are also known as Putu Piring. Besides the standard bite-size of the Tu Tu Kueh, this stall does offer a bigger size (XL Size) that is almost 3 times the size of the original and costs $1 per piece. Uncle Tan who is selling Tu Tu Kueh for more than 50 years is the man behind the Stall. I used to visit his Tu Tu Kueh Stall in Jurong West during my childhood days. His Tu Tu Kueh was popular in the neighbourhood. Ingredients were prepared from scratch like cutting of pandan leaves, and grounding of rice flour. If you notice, they have a big machine in the stall meant for his preparations - that's how serious they are into these handmade delicacies.

good old comfort food,however 4 pcs for $2 is a tad pricey,owners do not use gloves in prepping of food which is a hygiene issue as well. but for a taste of classic food in 2 flavours coconut n peanut,still worth a try.

Very interesting stall. Uses age old machines in the 60's to pound and grind rice to flour. Even the Du Du Kueh machine is age old machinery. You will get the real true blue taste of the DuDu Kueh!
