★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First visit to 1983 at CGH, we ordered the main dish, Curry Chicken Cutlet rice. It ok only, not excellent.
On 2nd visit, we had worst the Chee Cheong Fun.
We ordered 2 plate. Both is cold. One of it has some kind of weird sour taste. The sauce also taste a bit too sweet.
Went to change 2 new set where the night shift staff willing to change for us.
Now it warm, but one of the plate still has that weird sour taste.
Didn't continue eating as don't want to has upset stomach later.
The kaya toast bread also cannot make it, bread is soft like didn't been toast before.
It "Kaya Bread" instead of "Kaya Toast Bread".

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I bought coffee and tea at CGH outlet...while not realising that there were birds pecking thru my drinks..realising it is contaminated i ask the counter staff if i could exchange my drinks..the staff not only dudnt underatand my request and kept askinge what i want infront of the long queues...imagine the embarassment...the thing is the birds are not afraid even though we are at the table..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If only their staffs who work there are more consistent with their temperament and service would help make experiences better. Talk among themselves. Gave out wrong food and if goes back to them blaming customer giving wrong orders. Shame customers when there is an immediate change of orders. Coffee and tea are usually not according to customer's preferences.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The 1983 coffee and toast stall here inside Changi General Hospital was originated from Malacca, Malaysia.
Their specialty is Nasi Lemak (Fragrant Coconut Rice)
Today’s weather is cool so i went for a 4.5 SGD soup.
The macaroni is al dente.
The meat serving is hefty, there’s shredded chicken and slices of fish cakes.
The broth is salty. Its almost similar with a filipino dish “sopas”, the only ingredient lacking was evaporated milk.
The venue is very nostalgic, marbled tables, and wooden chairs similar to the chinese movies i saw back in the Philippines.
Will visit again and review.
