I love Porridge especially the Hong Kong Congee, but the traditional Singapore Porridge is also one that I would crave for. Was really happy to see traditional Porridge making their presence in Malls. Was a little disappointed though. The Porridge too dry and bland, need to add a little soy sauce n chilli padi. Loves the Fish Skin, super thin and crispy!!

Am a porridge lover so I was really excited to try this out. What a poor dining experience. For starters, the layout of the dining area is just strange and confusing. I understand it is more of a kiosk than restaurant but you shouldn’t have seats together with places where you store your equipment? It was a bad start. After the porridge came, to be fair, it was a generous portion for the price but the porridge was so horribly bland. It was as though it wasn’t even seasoned? I snapped a shot of the porridge the moment I was served and the egg inside was already completely cooked :( Porridge lovers will know that we need the egg to be runny and stirred in for that extra satisfaction. The Youtiao was okay, crispy enough but super oily and greasy. It just made the entire meal feel so heavy. Really disappointed :(

A warm and clean bowl of porridge. Like what they advertised, it doesn’t contain any salt nor MSG as its pretty much very bland on its own. However, there’s a topping / sauce station which has soy sauce, pepper, chilli padi, ginger and spring onion that we may add as per our liking. Constantly flooded with patrons in a small space, but food is served fast with an efficient queue system. Not one porridge I would go for unless I’m down for some clean and healthy food.

Good food, but poor service. Staff was loud and inpatient. Ordering kiosk's is not very user-friendly at the payment part, as instructions on next steps are not straightforward.

We had shredded chicken porridge and batang fish porridge - the stredded chicken and batang fish pieces are fresh and the fritters are crispy. However, we are disappointed to find taste of MSG too strong in the porridge. Perhaps, the chef can consider reducing the MSG level in the porridge at JEMS branch. It didn't taste like that at the Tiong Bahru branch.

Have not eaten century egg porridge with you teow for a long time as it's not easy to go to the original at Tiong Bahru.. well they opened at Jurong East in an entire new food corner and JEM basement is entirely devoted to food or restaurant

Order via the self serviced kiosk was easy. Waiting time is quite short for peak hour period. Ordered the mixed pork porridge, intestine porridge, homemade prawn roll and century egg. Porridge were above average. Silky and smooth. Generous sesame oil made it more fragrant. Intestine had no gamey smell, cleaned well. Prawn roll was below average, filling was like paste like, severely lack of texture of what a home made roll should be like. Century egg as side dish came with ginger slices garnishing. Most places served century egg with ginger but the ginger is pickled. This one was not pickled and did not go well with century egg.
