β β β β β We had a great time at seorae jem on 12/7/22. We decided on the king set, recommended by Freddie and it was really good for the 4 of us. He was professional, attentive and checking on us if we need additional orders and how is our food along the way. He excel at serving his customers and he wish my wife happy birthday before we leave and that makes our evening happier. Thanks Freddie.

β β β β β I have been to this restaurant with my family numerous times. I have visited their Plaza Singapura branch n Jem. Both restaurants serve the same Korean BBQ menu, the differences are the varieties of Korean drinks/cocktails that the Plaza Singapura branch offered and better, more attentive staffs there. Personally, I go to the Jem branch due to the convenience in location and when I'm around Jurong area. The shop in Jem is slightly smaller in size.
The reason why I still frequent this restaurant is because of the quality of bbq meat. They offered different parts of the pork meat and one of the best is their Garlic/Spicy Pork Skirt meat and their pork belly are cut in ideal thickness, allowing it to slowly grilled over charcoal fire until crispy and juicy. They do serve chicken meat and skewers too. I don't eat beef but they do have a variety of beef for beef lovers. If you want to enjoy this bbq and tried out a few dishes, i suggest that you get a party of 4 at least. They served regular Korean menu like army stew, tteobokki, Bimbimbab, Korean seafood or kimichi pancake and so on. If you are eating as a group of 6 or more, I suggest the king or beef set, more value for money. Bear in mind that they only served 1 bottle of steam egg to be cooked over the grill (top up for another serving) and you need to top $2 for a small plate of mozzarella cheese. My kids love to eat their grilled meat with cheese so I will usually order it.
Lettuce, cold barley tea, Korean side dishes can be refilled at no costs. Queue early for dinner especially during weekend. I have queued more than an hour at Plaza Sing branch for a weekend dinner. Try their Lychee n mango Makogoli, yakult or watermelon or Pineapple Soju. Makogoli is light and sweet.
Value for money: Absolutely for their meat, but expect to wait and attending staffs may not seems friendly and willing to serve. Besides their service, I think they can do better in their dipping sauce, their samjang is way too diluted. They serve nice kimichi, not too sour, but maybe slightly spicy for people who cannot handle spicy food. You will need to request for cut green chillies n garlic slices if you want to have them with your lettuce wrap.

β β β β β Brought my Aunt from Sydney here to eat, our first time having Korean!! We arrived clueless on what to order to eat... but Maria was the best!! She not only recommended dishes but also assisted with my bbq and taught us how to cook. Thank you so much for your help!! We really enjoyed our meal here and will be back. Wonderful experience, excellent service!

β β β β β Overall good experience in terms or food and ambience. Service is average. Ordered the ultimate mix set. Portion is good for sharing among 3pax. However table is too small grill is very near as you consume ur meal.

β β β β β Food wasn't too good. The pancake was doughy and the stews were salty and there was a tinge of bitterness. Service was average, nothing fantastic and nothing to complain about.

β β β β β Meat quality is quite good. However, a minimum order of 2 plates of meat is compulsory to sit down. I have problem as only 1 person.
Went at odd hours, restaurant not busy, May be 6 table plus mine, but service can be better. Didnβt give water (every table has), half way through meal one crew realised asked if I want, I said yes. Never came back.
Ordered drink didnβt came, need to asked for it again β
through the meal.
Total bill $60+ for 1 pax β¦ hmmm

β β β β β Highly recommend the weekday lunch special - we got 5 meats for $68 which is great value for money considering that ala carte per meat is around $20+. The meat quality was superb and every dish was a hit, unlike many other kbbq restaurants were some meat may be tough/dry. It was a very hearty meal and well spent! Special thanks to Teresa who provided great service to us ?
