β β β β β Food is alright but overly expensive though. Service wise is terrible. Server was busy talking on her phone literally the entire time while taking orders and serving us.

β β β β β Surprisingly good for staples. Honestly had no expectations (it was completely empty on a saturday evening the week after covid restrictions were lifted, and the front counter girl told us she had no idea what dishes were good o_O). We were hungry and it was there. However we were pleasantly surprised. The beef horfun and yuan yang horfun both had good wok hei (on par with the better zi char stalls), and my kid polished off the satay in record time. The chicken satay was good. Pork satay was tough and too sweet. writing this review in hopes they will stay open and I will have a reliable place for reasonably priced zi char food in the heart of bukit timah =) will return!

β β β β β Really nice zhi char at a reasonable price with air con environment. Their hokkien mee and carrot cake are very delicious. Hard to find such a gem nowadays. Do support them.

β β β β β Ah Mei cafe has good cooks. Dishes are delicious and generous with ingredients. Started to patronize them recently and will continue to do so. They deserve our support.

β β β β β This post was taken on 2 separate occasions. Dinner in Feb and lunch yesterday. The dish I had it for lunch was amazingly delicious!
Soaked with moist flavourful gravy and stewed fat belly makes the plate of fried bee Hoon incredibly tasty! Highly recommended by Alan, founder of Ah Mei cafe. Very friendly uncle and making sure customers feel welcoming.
Ah Mei Cafe used to be halal certified and was closed down for several years. Concept has changed and now serving up fusion food and draft beers on menu. A great place to chill with good company. Price is reasonableοΌ
