β β β β β I went to this salon yesterday at 7pm and it was told to me that I had to wait 45 minutes. After waiting for 20 minutes, I went back, one of the staff was really unhappy with my presence. One of tha staff was talking in Cantonese sayinf βNO NO NO WE ARE NOT ACCEPTING HERβ. It seems that there was a lack of communication between them. Little did he know that I understood him. I felt that it was rude to make me wait for 20 minutes and be unhappy for my presence there. In order not to risk my hair to be cut by the angry and pissed staff, I decided to not get my hair cut there. Never going back here ever again. Bad service. After talking to my friend, I realised that my friend had a bad hair cut here last year. Highly not recommended.

β β β β β After having read reviews, both bad and good about Artica, I still decided to give it a try for hair colouring. I'm not disappointed definitely. The staff were very friendly. Language wise, they are weak in English and more proficient in Mandarin/Cantonese but I'm comfortable. I asked for Juno and he was very patient in explaining to me the differences between Balayage, Ombre and regular highlights. He also explained why bleach is necessary for some colours. The colours came out very nicely on my hair and he styled it for me too! Above all, I was also pleasantly surprised that there was a promotion for October and had a discount! Will definitely go back for colouring again and recommend Artica to my friends.
