★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Plastic cover inside the food - at the bottom of the plate. Restaurant attendant just changed with new plate without expressing sorry for the mishap. We didn’t want to take, attendant simply asked ‘takeaway’? It’s not a great service attitude

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Waited 40mins for food to arrive, and it was all cold except for the rice. Ayam penyet was really dry and lacked flavour. They also stopped including the kangkong side dish in the standard ayam penyet set- even though their pictures show otherwise. Heard from one of the servers that the food comes from a central kitchen now- probably explains why the standard has dropped so much, since it’s just massed produced food.
Sad to see how a formerly great ayam penyet place has become so horrible

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ the increase price of chicken have clearly reduced the chicken portion as shown in picture. taste are still as good , consistency is there . hopefully the portion will return to normal after chicken price have resumes to normal

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The shop that first introduced to me the dish of Ayam Penyet. I absolutely love it. Fried chicken with all that extra crispy bits, taufu, tempeh and their dellish super spicy chilli sambal. I love the kulit and that chendol-like drink thing. The only qualm I have about dining here is the smell. Ventilation in the kitchen needs improvement work. That grease smell just clings on for the whole day is a big turnoff.
