Very courteous staff and quick service from entry crew, cashier and clearing of tables. The Ayam Penyet is tasty but just a little dry for me. Very clean, bright and spacious restaurant

Indonesian food in the heart of Orchard. Had the grill beef rib (Iga Bakar), which is not easy to get in Singapore. Followed by refreshing cendol to cool down after the spicy meal

The grilled chicken with honey sauce taste is good that we keep on coming back everytime we go to centrepoint. Though sometimes the chicken is quite dry. The place is quite spacious and the price of the food is not that expensive.

Located in centrepoint in orchard area, this is one of indonesian gem in singapore. Serving authentic indonesian most famous dish "ayam penyet", "ayam geprek" with gigantic portion. Trust me, if you visit, you'll be leaving with full tummy. I went here with my friend, we kind of crave for indonesian lately and she recommend me dapur penyet and ayam penyet president, but I choose this one since it's along the way (will definitely visit the president one in the future ;)). It's not exactly easy to find since it's located in first floor and a bit secluded. I thought it will be less people since it's 1130am, oh boy... how wrong i was! It's already semi-filled, if we're not quick enough, there won't be any table left for us. The ambience is bright, it's nice to be side-by-side of the window and it's not as hot it would be. I noticed there's satay, grilled chicken, duck, beef seafood and a lots of indonesian side dishes available, but it would be too much for two of us. We took our order, after that we find our seat and wait for our orders to be ready. We ordered; - Ayam penyet sambal hijau (S$ 8.90) The dish came with rice with star shaped keropok (on separate plate), raw vegetables (cucumber, half boiled cabbage) as sides (in indonesia we call "lalapan"), fried tofu, chicken (slightly smashed) with sambal hijau on top. It's slightly different from indonesia version since the chicken is humongous (i ordered breast part). The sambal hijau was more like nasi padang's sambal hijau, it comes with fried anchovies mixed with green sambal. Upon taking a bite, i can see the vegetables was freshly cut and the chicken was still hot (the skin was crispy). It was good! The chicken was cooked properly, moist and tender. Eat it with sambal, you can taste the umami, add in vegetable and you can taste the freshness combined with savoury taste. Too bad it's not as spicy as the one i ate in indonesia, but it's good enough for singapore taste. - Ayam penyet sambal belado (S$ 8.90) Like it's name, belado usual taste is sweet, salty and spicy. My friend ordered thigh part. Come with same side dishes with the sambal hijau, this one has no anchovies on the sambal. The chicken was fried properly and guess what, since it's thigh part you can expect juiciness when taking bite of the meat. Although i expected it to be more spicy, the taste was great. I can say that this place is one of the spiciest indonesian restaurant i've ever tasted in singapore. Scoring time: Food 4/5 Taste 4/5 Price 4/5 Service 4/5 Ambience 4/5 Location 4/5 Overall score of 4 out of 5 stars Would i come back? Yes, a lot of other variants that i haven't try Would i recommend this place? Yup.

A rare find as we were not intentionally looking for it. They served affordable Indonesian cuisine and got to say that it is very authentic. Chili was a good kick as expected and I enjoyed myself. Staff service was good and we didn't wait too long for food despite being the restaurant almost full.

Spacious Place and well decorated. Self order and Self pickup. However Staff should be more attentive and quickly attend to waiting Customers at Entrance. We have to call staff to be seated and saw 2 couples walked away after no staff attend to them. Food quality is Good & price is quite reasonable. So far still one of the best Halal place to eat around Orchard Road.
