β β β β β Attended the Mao Shan Wang cake baking class today. Itβs a good experience to learn the basic frosting tactics and the type of tools to use.
I am not beginner to cake baking but it is a good experience to learn. After finished baking, we brought the yummy cake home as well.
Our instructor Rebecca and the co instructor Alan are very helpful and approachable.
They have nice photo corners for us to take photos and Alan helped us to take a lot of photos as well.

β β β β β Our team of 4 happened to pass by the outlet one night and were attracted by the varied wedged cakes on display.Β Pleasantly surprised, we were invited to taste and each offered a sampler nicely sealed in foil wrap.Β Yum, the almond cookie I tasted was a smooth nutty crisp (ι
₯), not too sweet, that left me wanting for more. Reasonably priced, the outlet also offers variations of cookies - pistachio, florentine and of course, pineapple tart - all with prices shown. The lady in shop was very ready to share the goodness of her CNY goodies, no obligations. Well done! β€οΈ

β β β β β The taro coconut cake is good!! 2nd best in singapore IMO hahaha. I loved how it wasnβt too sweet or coconut-y, and the cream layers were chock full of taro chunks! The chiffon cake was soft, but could have been softer to be top tier
Best part was the friendliness and kindness of the staff!! It was my friendβs birthday and we were trying to find a place to eat the cake, and they very kindly offered us a seat in their baking studio since there was no class. They even offered us water, and asked us if we wanted to play the happy birthday song in the background LOL.
Will definitely be recommending this place to others!!
