A place to enjoy with friends over BBQ and several rounds of drinks. The food comes pretty fast and the place is wide and spacious. I am surprised at the speed of the service. They have unique items like intestines and innards. Only issue I would like to nitpick - the same sauce is used throughout the different items, which makes the taste boring. You can however add additional side dishes to add variety, but this action will bring the cost of that meal up quickly.

Amazing Chinese style skewers that were well seasoned (main seasoning = cajun spice which I thoroughly enjoy). One item that really stood out was their popular cajun wings - wings were so tender/juicy and cooked to perfection. Be sure to order the mushrooms too! Ps: this is not a diy bbq joint, food is cooked by the kitchen and then placed on the 'box' (ie heating plate) to be kept warm. I was impressed by the quick service considering how packed the place was. Place opens till 130am on Fris and Sats and I could see consistent trickling of people still coming in at 1130pm. Note: Reservations can't be made after 6pm. Location is convenient to get to as it's just opp one of the Bugis MRT exits. Downside: even though the skewers were placed on a hot plate to be kept warm, our skewers still turned cold eventually. Could be likely due to us sitting under the AC. Interesting gimmick: free dental mouthwash up for grabs (placed by the wash basins)

BBQ box is a Chinese eating establishment that specializes in bbq meat skewers. I'm already planning when to come back here again. Great place for bbq sticks (串) and drinking alcohol. We ordered a ton of side dishes and bbq sticks as well as alcohol but the bill was still manageable. Staff were helpful and friendly in getting my third plate of spice , patiently explaining why we shouldn't take the alcohol from the fridge and even ushering us to our seats. Two thumbs up. Food was fresh and flavorful. definitely not like some other establishments that are either too spicy , salty , oily or a combination of all 3. However, do manage your expectations on the menu. Stuff like Chongqing fish or chicken might not be available. Side note on the selection of alcohol, extensive and satisfying. I highly recommend the lamb meat skewers. Hope to see u guys soon!

My first time to BBQ box @ Bugis. Location is very convenient as it very near to Bugis MRT station, exit via Tan Quee Lan. Its along the stretch of shophouses. : : Very cosy place but since its a bbq place so be prepare to get yourself smelly. Saw these interesting bottles wehn i was visiting the ladies. They actually has FREE mouthwash. Wonder why the need for it. : : On this same say my friend actually went to another branch at Geylang. Heard their menu abit different as i see alot of large vegetables in her photos. Here in bugis ahedly see nay greens. Maybe the Japanese Edamame and long beans only. Dunno why its so limted. Those who like greens might wana consider Geylang branch instead. : : Their items comes in sticks. So when ordering need to see carefully how many sticks per qty. Sometimes it can be 3 or 5. In a table of about 5 yesterday, we ate around $250 worth of sticks and if u cannot finish, you are allowed to tabao home. Try not to order too much to avoid food wastage. Serving time is quite considered fast however some food like octopus tentacles are super slow but v v nice. The staff will actually bbq then served it on the table top tray which is heated. So careful not to touch the plate when food is being served. There is a choice of spicy or original taste. Most of us choose chilly based though. : : Alcohol drinks are being served in here as well. Tbeir TshingTao beer i first time drink. Really very light and not that gassy. : : Quite an interesting concept i really first time saw. Will definitely come back for more ?? ?? ??

Not the easiest place to find a carpark lot over here, but still good pretty good bbq sticks. Meat is kind of tough and dry today though. Still loving that ‘beef lean and fat’ stick as usual. Oysters were great and juicy!! If you’re coming here for the first time, should try a few sticks before ordering lots of it, also use FAVE payment to save some money with its cash back, get $150 e-vouchers while paying only $120.

Went back today after my last visit a year ago, I like some of the new skewers choices for beef. Quality very good and consistent, Appreciate how the store also changed the aluminium foil to proper metal plate, heat is now better distributed and food can be kept warm longer. Overall it was a much better experience than my previous visit.

Can't say I enjoyed this place. Skewers were salty and dry. Noodle and dumpling were fine. For the small portion we ordered since we were skeptical with the food to begin with, we paid 60 over dollars! Rated 2 stars tho coz the ambience was nice and I can imagine it would be a nice hang out place with friends with the sole purpose of drinking beer and chit chatting--not dinner!

Yummy yummy yummy! Can’t express how much I love the marinate skewers with their signature Cajun herbs?? Love the potato stick, think we will order a mountain next time. Highly recommend their premium mutton skewer! Is very tender and not much of the 羊骚味??
