★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Have dine at Tanyu for quite a few times, 1st time to this outlet. 1st time trying their non-spicy flavour, it was quite nice though a bit salty since it was soya sauce based, but they will help top up some soup midway to make it less salty. Had the limbo fillet fish which I find it much easier to eat as there were no bones. Service was very good, all staff was friendly and professional. Environment was also nice, quiet and comfortable seats.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time trying and heard they are always full and crowded. Arrived around 5.15pm on Thursday evening. No queue and just occupied by few tables. 4 of us, we ordered fish, white rice, white noodles, cold noodles, cucumber, scallop and their famous fried mantau. We also ordered a tower of lemon drink. Tower sounded huge but just about 2 full cups per person because lots of ice cubes. We ordered 2 bottles of drinking water and filled in the tower. The fish was ok but too spicy for my liking. Good to try and you can go for non-spicy fish but their signature is spicy. 4 people are just nice and we can order some side dishes too. The cold noodles was not bad but slightly expensive, $8.90 for a small portion. Total about $120. Service was ok and overall everything was ok.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love their green chilli pepper grilled fish fillet :) 100% boneless and very tender.
Must order their potato and chicken skewer, the seasoning is awesome!
Will definitely come again ❤️

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the best tan yu outlet I’ve been. Why? The interior is bright as one part of the restaurant has natural lighting by the balcony. My clothing didn’t smell much of “tan yu “ - those who has been here will understand . The ventilation plays a part .
Food is good as usual . Digital ordering, no fuss.
It’s always crowded so expect to wait . Else come at off peak timings to reduce the chance of long waiting hours!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visited on Saturday 4pm. No queues. Green pepper grilled fish was quite good. Environment was comfortable as well. However, our sweet potato noodles came with tissue paper stick on it. Overall was great

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My go to place for mala grill fish.
Reservations are hard to make, so do go early to take a queue number.
For grilled fish, I prefer the 香辣烤鱼 more than the green chili ones, as it gives a more spicy kick.
It's great that they serve skewers here, giving more variety of dishes. I like the skewer grill frog. The other skewers are nice too, but not great. After all, their specialty is the fish.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 3rd visit this round, the fish is always fresh and we always have the same menu ( green pepper ) when we visit. But will be extremely salty at the end of the meal. Ordering mantou is a must. Can try out their Noodles and union oils and soy sauce with cheese. Awesome blend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered their scallion noodle and grilled fish. The grilled fish is nice and we requested for least spicy. Taste very very nice.
But it was a bit pricey but think worth the price. Nice ambience. Definitely something to try out for those visiting Singapore. Would be better if you go in a group.
