Chinese food. Old time restaurant with seniors as the staffs. There are set menu and dim sum as well. Custard bun is gooey and hot.

Went there to eat the signature Fried oyster omelette but they not serving it till after CNY. Ordered the Herbal prawns, Kong Bak Pau, Fried mee sua or bee hoon and some green vegetables. Not a fan of fatty food but the Kong Bak Pau are quite nice. The must try here are the Fried oyster omelette and Kong Ba Pau. Now that crowded on a weeknight.

First weekend of relaxed regulation (up to 10 pax). Restaurant was packed. Ordered hokkien mee, fried mee sua, yam ring (with shrimp), Kong ba bao, Qing long vegetable and roasted crispy chicken. Hokkien mee had traditional flavors, noodle had strong yeast taste. Mee sua was above average, better than hokkien mee. Qing long Cai was great. Roasted chicken was good, an order that would be popular to most patrons. Kong ba bao I personally feel is a must order. Yam ring was abit burnt.

Our go to place for traditional hokkien fare. It's a good place to go with a group of people but weekend dinners can be packed and best to make a reservation. It was crowded on a Sunday night and our dishes all came pretty slowly one at a time. One of my favourite - oyster omelette was the slowest and we were almost full so we gave up and told them to cancel it if the dish is not ready. The manager said that the kitchen ran out of gas! Oh well, maybe because it was such a busy weekend. Their stir fry water crest is nice though (for elderly with fake teeth, not recommended as a fair bit of chewing is required).

The pro here is that the food is served fast & furious; but Iโ€™m not sure if thatโ€™s also y the food is also way below par compared to its popularity. Came here to try a couple of Hokkien-specific dishes but nothing really stood out. Kong ba (bao) is tough & the flavours boring. Hokkien mee is at best zichar level. Yam ring was most likely pre-fried - warm. The fish was fresh, but their ๆฒนๆตธ style sauce was a tad heavy for me. The ไบ”้ฆ™/่™พๆžฃ was probably the better dish amongst the lotโ€ฆ

This is one of the most classic hokkien diners around passed in generations. Would give food 3.5 stars and staff 4.5 stars, most of staff around are senior folks who are friendly and working diligently through long hours and days. Still same retro decor with Chinese influence. Hokkien mee was cooked and overbraised soggy, oyster omelette crispy nice but sadly without the must-have sour chilli. Prawn rolls and pork ribs are decent. The house made sambal silver fish sold in bottles are good though, on its own or as side.

The food is so so standards drop, the food was not hot at all, rather warm and pre heated to serve. Food comes fast, service for the aunties was professional. My sister family visited the restaurant many times first time they shocked the level dropped. Hope our next visit would be better. 80% full house, big family group good place to settle down.
