★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just purchased some kuehs and one of the aunty overcharged me by $3.70 never apologise at all. It felt like she really wanted to overcharge me. I wonder how many people they overcharged. Just be careful when you buy from them. Check the receipt.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bought the Fouram Cookies after the sales person told me that it is similar to Kueh Makmur. Unfortunately, it is nowhere near the taste of Kueh Makmur. I could not even tell what are the ingredients after tasting it. Totally unpleasant taste and I regretted purchasing it. The quality of the pineapple tarts have also gone downhill compared to previous years purchase.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cakes and Singaporean pastries. The best place to get local/peranakan pastries. There is no seating and no drinks served here. A strong recommendation is the cheese pandan cake! Otherwise, the colorful coconut filled peranakan pastries are always worth the calories.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had only 1 staff member, she was attending to a customer for preorder or some delivery. Waited for 15mins and was still processing, didn't even address the queue that formed up. Decided it was not worth my time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bought my favourite kueh bangkit and peanut Kok chai. Very disappointed the quality of both. Powdery pastry + powdery peanut, lost the peanut characteristics, no peanut fragrance. The bangkit is sweet and unremarkable, can't compare to neighbourhoods bangkit.
Banggawan no longer trade mark for quality. ?
