Bengawan Solo (Northpoint City) - #B1-19 Northpoint City North Wing

They have really good Mango cake! But recently I saw coffee avocado .... hmmm I’m still hesitant to try.

I bought chocolate cake too sweet and creamy, shall try other flavour cakes…

Very irresponsible... ordered a round cake but they made a rectangle cake. Did not even bother to check the order or inform before changing.

Very dry cakes if they are not in the fridge. The walnut and fruit cakes are very dry and crusty probably not fresh at all. Have to make a feedback to SFA regarding their poor food quality. Please take note and refrain from buying mooncakes here as well as mostly not fresh.

I would like to highlight the worse and rude service I had encounter at Northpoint city branch. Even thought I take the Pandan cake myself. The auntie wearing spectacle tone should be lower then keep pointing at customer mistake and fault.

Bought some snow skin mooncakes from Bengawan Solo at NPC. Must say I am really disappointed at the quality of their service and packaging. I asked them if there are ice packs for my snow skin moon cake, the reply I got was ‘no need la’. I asked again this is frozen snow skin. The reply again was ...no need.... wow considering under Singapore’s climate, they really expect customers to buy the snow skin moon cakes and walk back home under the hot sun with no ice packs or cooler bags. Cooler bags are costly I understand but surely with 40 outlets bengawan can afford some ice packs right?!!! First and last time I am getting snow skin moon cakes here for good. :((

I had ordered a black forest cake with a special message in Chinese last few days. I have confirmed with the staff a few times on the message too when i made payment. On the day of collection, we checked the cake at the store and realised that the cake had some alphabetic letters on it instead of what we had wanted. The staff then checked against the original invoice and realised that it was a mistake made by the factory. We were very upset with the turns of event over the cake as it has a special meaning. What made us angry and shock was the staff's immediate attitude was to blame the factory and said it has nothing to do with them. Shouldn't they know that any mistake could ruin an event? We asked for refund since the cake didnt serve its meaning without the special message. The staff refunded us and muttered a word of insincere sorry. It is very unprofessional of Bengawan Solo not to QC the cakes upon arrival to ensure orders are correct and the staff's non emphathetic attitude put us off. This would be the last time i order from this store and would definitely not recommend to friends and family.

I frequent this outlet regularly and service is always tip-top. I never knew I could request to have my Pandan chiffon cake sliced until they asked. They will always show the whole cake, seeking for confirmation before they proceed. The aunties were always very friendly as compared to outlets in Orchard.
