I have never done pottery before and to learn not only important pillars but to learn in such a relaxed but highly educational manner has inspired me and made me all the more excited to find out what I will learn the next time. Lesson one has been a zen like experience and I came away relaxed and happy and keen to learn more. A rare find and privilege to be able to continue.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great studio if you’re really trying to master technique and the art of ceramics. Robert really takes his time to teach and explain- in a way that many, if not most, studios do not. He’s been teaching for over 30 years and has taught children before so his explanations and methods are easy to understand and easy to remember. I have learned in many studios, across many cities and countries, I would say Robert is the first to really take his time to correct my fundamentals. Highly recommend if you’re serious about pottery, and you find yourself stalled in progression, or just want to start off with the right foundation!

Robert is a very passionate potter and truly a master as his craft. You can sense his love for the craft the moment he starts speaking ! He was very patient in explaining and guiding us through each step - making the session stress-free.
Would definitely recommend this place irregardless of your experience / skill level :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The teaching and demonstration of the pottery intro was so well explained and thorough that when it was time for us to actually do it, it was easy for a first-timer and fun. Robert was attentive to each one of us throughout the process and lent a guiding hand to the moulding and shaping which made us turn out a beautifully shaped chinese teacup. Highly recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had such a great time learning pottery from Bethel Pottery. Robert is so passionate and meticulous! He makes sure his students really learn the fundamentals of pottery. I bought the package of 5 classes because I'm only in Singapore for a few months. You learn something (and make something!) new each class, so I came away with 5 beautiful pieces. I highly recommend this studio for anyone looking to give pottery a try, short or long term. Robert will accommodate!
