Instructors were very experienced and knew how to deal with any type of situation pertaining to clay. Had a lot of fun. Highly recommended as a good bonding activity, and especially for first timers!

Friendly and patient staff. Lots of chance to practice and reasonable price. Convenient and tranquil location Highly recommended for starters or even those who are experienced. Came as a beginner and felt I improve a lot. Happy to do an artwork of my own!

Writing this review to give (what I hope is) constructive feedback, and raise awareness to those considering 3Arts! I went for "Wheel-Throwing - Experiential Pottery" class for $83 on 18 Sep 21, and was really excited. However, I did not have a good time because: 1. I underestimated the difficulty of making a piece as a total beginner. For sure, this is on me! But - SUGGESTION: it would help if the booking webpage has "warned" customers of this so they come in with low expectations ? 2. Had a bit of a surprise as class is not air-conditioned. Nothing wrong about this, but it's just an expectation mismatch (usually when I pay money I expect air-con). SUGGESTION: It would greatly help if this is clearly indicated on the booking webpage. 3. I had to wash the entire pottery equipment. Process took about 30min total including queueing, as stated in the other low-rated reviews. Nothing wrong about this, but it's just an expectation mismatch (usually when I pay money I don't expect to wash up). SUGGESTION: It would greatly help if this is clearly indicated on the booking webpage, and if there were more sinks/water-filled large containers to soak first. 4. Most disappointingly, I was not given much support. Yes, there was the good 30min instructor's demo, but as other low-rated reviews shared, it's really too much for total beginners to catch. I then expected that the instructors would walk around the class and help guide us (as he said he would), but I didn't get much support :( Not too sure if it was an oversight, since my brother and I were seated towards the end of the class, and I noticed participants at the other end were getting much better support. Kudos to this one lady instructor who came in to help me initially, and taught me things not covered in the demo e.g. remove clay from my hands always, make sure hand sitting on clean wheel and not clay. However, I could not find her later when all my pieces kept breaking. I asked the male instructor when he was nearby on why my pieces kept breaking, and I kid you not I thinkkk he said something to the effect of just keep trying or jiayou ?SUGGESTION: Instructor to demo step 1, then everyone go try step 1 with adequate roaming instructor support. Then instructor to demo step 2, then everyone go try step 2 etc. SUGGESTION: Also print out the 4 steps as small little cards and offer them to participants who want to reference them at their seats. There are posters around but quite far from where I was sitting so I could not see clearly. 5. I was becoming more and more demoralised and embarrassed throughout the session. Re: support given, and maybe disparity in my vs other people's talent ?, I was unable to produce any pieces as mine kept breaking, while I saw other participants churning beautiful piece after piece after piece. (See photo for mine vs another participant's bowl) I am thankful though that the male instructor came over at the end and helped me make one piece just so I had something nice to bring home. But still. I've read 3Arts' suggestion in other low-rated reviews, that I should have given feedback to the instructors on the spot - this is fair, but well, I was in no emotional state to. I've read 3Arts' reply to other low-rated reviews, saying that it affects their rice bowl. For sure, I don't like to give low-rated reviews either. But poor customer experience affects your rice bowl all the more (no repeat customers and poor word-of-mouth), and I hope with feedback things can be improved. I did go away though with an exposure to wheel throwing, and newfound appreciation for hand made ceramics. Thanks and jiayou, small businesses with social causes!

Bought my class voucher 2.5 hours session via Fave app, not including artwork. Experience made perfect with patient and friendly instructor (Joyce).

I have been learning handbuilding from Jaslin with my daughter for over a year and will highly recommend parent child bonding at 3Arts or even creating cute art pieces together at home! The greenery and open space, and the patience from Jaslin made learning a very relaxing and enjoyable process.

Very pleased to say that after 150 hours spent in a year of classes, I've graduated from 3 levels of wheel-throwing! Like any other craft, it takes time and hours of practice to learn. Here you learn at your own pace, through a syllabus that trains your basics so you can later tackle larger lumps of clay and a variety of shapes. The teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable, patient with all the students. The studio is spacious, neat and clean. Yet doesnt feel sterile with a nice kampung feel, within a calm compund that houses other schools. Calming environment with the field next to the studio and cute chickens roam the garden with many plants and trees. Each time I come, its a solid 3 hours of concentration on the craft, which leaves my mind cleared from the stresses of the week. Started with a trial class, then signed up for classes from then. Trials are meant for newbies to feel what its like to work on the wheel. Its not easy to accomplish anything on your own yet, so please dont pressure yourself to produce immediately! ? Its quite representative of normal classes where you need to learn from a demo, try it out a few times on your own, call for help, then clean up after. Thus is life, we clean up after our own messes ??. After signing up, each class is 3 hrs, u have time to practise on your own and also ask for help and demonstrations. Each course is 10 lessons, repeating courses is fine. With each course, 10 pieces firing and glazing is included. Strongly recommend to all!

Love the relaxed and outdoor location of the studio. Went with colleagues, and we all enjoyed the session. We will be back ?. We all paid for extra artwork to be glazed & burnt, it is worth it. All the art pieces turn out perfectly. Highly recommended to anyone who wants a relax and long-term hobby to pick up. Thank you.

I would recommend the trial class here as they provide adequate time of 2.5hrs to introduce and teach the basic of pottery for a reasonable price. If you are looking to learn a new craft, pottery is definitely the right choice and you should enroll here. The teachers are friendly and patient. You can always ask them for help if you are in a pickle. The environment is conducive, neat and spacious. A great place to unwind and relax. Been here since the end of 2019 and still here learning, practicing till this day.
