★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Paid $20+ for a bowl of average Don at Aburi En, so decided to come up to try this buta dons for under $10. Personally i think this is more value for money if you’re going for Buta Dons. Free egg + pickles and no svc/gst.
Personally i think for the Iberico char siew the cut is too thick, so if it’s under cooked it can be tough and hard to chew. Would suggest having a thinner cut and add on an extra slice of meat. Other than that, service is fast.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The pork katsu was juicy with strong pork flavors . Freshly fried as well. Curry is watery but better than average curry rice out there. Not as good as monster curry tho. Decent for a curry rice fix. The burnt iberico pork is really good I mean like really good. Portion is decent. Quite fully after the meal. The egg and drinks is horrible do not buy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Affordable and delicious Japanese food at a food court!! The pork cutlet was crispy yet not too fatty inside!! The roasted meats were all also superrr tender. Will definitely return when I’m around Somerset/orchard area!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Popular lunch spot for people working in the area. Love the pork jowl Don, with an additional 3 dollars you can choose two sides/beverage. I normally opt for a salad which is always colourful, fresh and tasty and the miso is also decent as it comes with small pieces of pork in it. For this price, it’s reasonable for a delicious bowl of freshly grilled pork don.
