Genki Sushi Orchard Central

A worker by the name of Eugene was accomodating and was very friendly, providing the best service I think I will ever see in my lifetime. I wish for him to get a raise and will definitely return for more. Oh yeah the food was good too.

One of the older branch of Genki Sushi but still maintain high level of quality. Still requires to press button upon food delivery by the trains. Occasionally have seasonal items but their regular menu is decent enough for a quick casual japanese dinner.

A nice place to have some sushi. They have a wide variety of dishes to choose from. Their salmon sushi was soft and seems to melt in your mouth. Though I prefer a thicker cut. The sushi rice however seemed to fall apart when I held them using a pair of chopsticks. The food was served using a "food bullet train", something I found to be interesting!

Saw dried particles of food, probably left over from previous dish. Yuck Serve alcohol - No Dessert available - Yes Refillable tea - Yes Sanitiser - no Paper napkins - upon request This is a budget friendly place for a quick meal, if you're really hungry and don't mind a poor ambiance, this place is totally fine. If you hate noisy places, just order your all food quickly as it'll take a while to arrive. Best dish I had during this visit was the mini gyudon, far exceeded my expectations. Worse dish, salmon handroll - the salmon was separating....

Food was a hit or miss. We had some good and bad dishes. Service was quick and attentive which made this review 2/5. Came here as the first few customers on a Tuesday afternoon but our food took excruciatingly long to come . Mentaiko dishes were great but after that came the disappointing dishes. The salmon sashimi was clearly coloured to make it appear fresh, it stained the plate in reddish water. Croquette tasted like the frozen ones you get at Don Don Donki. Beef udon first came BLAND, like just OIL and WATER soup, the staff was nice to change it but the original tasting soup did not taste any nicer. Overall, the food experience was really traumatising for me and i'll definitely not be back for the food here. Kudos to the front-of-house staff for making it a better experience though.

Quality is very low comparatively to their other stores... put so much sauce on one sushi and also put 2 salmon together even though they should be separate as it's supposed to be 2 sushi . Nobody gives us any glass or cup for water unless you spend 5mins looking for a staff who is available. Order takes quite long too and you have to chase.

One of the best outlets around. Except for the fried squid tasted salty, others were great. Spent a total of $70+ for 2 person. Tried a variety and was not disappointed at all.

Arrived at this branch at Somerset at 7.40pm. Queued till 8.20pm. (Tues) Prices have definitely gone up, the food doesn't seem to worth it's value. Service was quite good, above average. The taste was very mediocre if you ask me. The wasabi was amateurish! We ordered fries as well and it turned out disastrous. Sweet with syrup and mayo!!? The good n reliable thing was the green tea which we had direct access to the hot water for self refilling. Overall, 5/10, and I doubt I will b back again. I'd rather give a try to other sushi outlets. (If the prices were lower, customers may be more forgiving).
