β β β β β One of the most value for money Tendon in Singapore. I like the light taste of the batter. And the portion is just nice for me. A little bit oily but overall itβs good. Their $2 Hokkaido Soft Serves is also a must try.

β β β β β Very affordable but the location is a hidden jemβ¦ but the snaking queue went straight into the toilet.
We had a hearty meal for a party of 4.
The cold spicy udon was the bomb.
The sauce become a mix for other noodle and left over rice dishes - good till every drop.
The first squid was nice too. Wished they had more :-) as the portion was only 4 pieces.
Food is as good as the money you paid.
Couple of things:
1. The βcoldβ drink was not cold. Not chilled. Itβs just not hot. But you cannot market it as a cold drink.
2. Next, the waiter serving the food could have been more attentive. He pull the tray over the heads of our guests back-facing him and making it awkward to turn back and lift up the hands to take the tray. 4 pax had to take the tray.

β β β β β Highly recommended! The unassuming shop at the side actually is a gem. Set meals comes with both rice and noodle choices. Go udon for the best experience. Slightly pricier than others, but not unheard of in orchard area. The tempura is really badass - where the batter is really a light and crispy coating and the ingredients' freshness inside speaks for itself. Will be back again if in the area

β β β β β Affordable And Yummy Tempura! Good quality tempura! Sweet, crunchy, good size and fresh. The rice is also really good and turn over is fast. Restaurant is clean and service very efficient, no need to stand outside and wait for a seat as they have a virtual queue system. The dining area is quite spacious too and is perfect for their βrobot serverβ lol! My go to for a fuss free fast casual tempura fill! Oh.. the deep fried veggies are equally yummy too. ;)

β β β β β A inexpensive tendon experience. Ok not the top gun here but definitely satisfying for the price to portion ratio . Prawn quality definitely not the best but passable. Overall good variety to choose from and the winner is the milk ice cream that requires you to take away and not dine in. Overall if you feel like dining in a typical Japanese chain restaurant, this place sure fits the bill . The bonus is the equivalent price point you paid here is as if you are dining in Tokyo .

β β β β β Tenya Orchard Central deserves a better location than to be tucked away at the corner beside the toilet!! I would never have noticed this shop if my friend did not recommend.
Their fried mushrooms were some the most delicious things ive tasted. They were so crispy and juicy at the same time. Went really well with the rice and other ingredients of the don. Had a slight oily aftertaste towards the end of the meal but it was not a big issue.
I was extremely delighted when we were served by a robot. However, it was unable to sense that the food was already taken. Very fast meal, staff were efficient in clearing the bowls.
The cost was decent. Considering that this shop is situated in the orchard area, i think the foods worth it.

β β β β β Strongly recommended to dine at Tenya Orchard Central by friend. It really never disappoint. Had an affordable and delightful lunch with friend on a Friday two weeks ago.
Menu offered a great selection food which was nice and in decent portion at wallet-friendly prices. The management is thoughtful to deduct 50 cents if one opts for lesser rice. Service by staff was pleasant , particularly a Mr Jabez who was polite and helpful. The place is spacious with pleasant and cool decor. A cute robot was also on site to deliver food to our table which added fun to our dinning experience.
