Cannasia - 83 Frankel Ave

Got my Orbea Orca this week and my experience with them has been great. Not sure why the amount of negative feedback, they are not a big team thus probably why some of you experience downtime. Peter and Kok Fai had been very helpful in the whole process and i am glad i have gotten my bike from Cannasia.

Walked out of the store long back and vowed never to return. The staff was obnoxious, prude and condescending. Gladly took my business elsewhere never to return. I see many people have experienced the same treatment.

DO NOT come to this store! The staff are incredibly rude, lazy and are really good at wasting time. I wanted to get a part of my bike replaced and I was waiting in the store for a good 15 minutes until someone attended to me. The person who attended to me was incredibly rude and did not even bother to make an effort to listen to my issue. This place has atrocious customer service and all the 5 star reviews are most likely from friends… plus most of the servicing is ridiculously overpriced, I suggest going to other bike shops where the staff are not rude, judgmental and don’t look down upon you and waste your time.

The shop team are friendly and definitely want to help customers. I was looking to buy a bicycle, and like a lot of retail bike shops in Singapore they have limited stock at any time Unfortunately they did not have what I was looking for, but I would go back again based on the service.

Bought my old bike there for service, service lead time is about a week. Everything was done perfect and all wear and tear parts replace. The staff use their time to explain and go through the detail of the service. I even bought a second bike at a very good deal for my wife. Staff and the boss was very honest, no hard sell at all. Definitely a place to go, and highly recommended.

DO NOT COME HERE!!! Customer service is awful, slow and incredibly inefficient. The staff do not look interested in anything I have to say and make it seem like they don’t care for my issues. The services are awful as well as my tire wasn’t even fixed properly. The prices are too high and cheaper options are available.

I wouldn’t say not to use them, it really depends on what you are after. Ironically I have serviced my bike here before. I would say as long as you have stuff that needs changing that they can charge for then probably they are more interested. A longer while back I changed my gear set, chain and rims. No complaints. This time round I just needed a basic servicing mostly. Staff weren’t rude but just didn’t seem that interested. Was told the chain and cassette needed changing. Also told the head tube on the steering needed changing but they didn’t have the parts, not cheap parts anyway, only high end ‘that would cost a bomb’. Maybe they only want to deal in high end stuff. I went up to the Trek shop just up the road so I can give a clear service comparison. Based on this info I told the guy there that I needed a basic service but the cassette and head tube needed changing. He took a look, acknowledged that it needed a service and would need to change the chain but that the cassette and head tube actually looked fine. I was still doubtful and told them if when doing the servicing if they saw that they needed to change them after all then go ahead. In the end they just needed cleaning and lubricating, the bike is running great now. Pretty stark difference in customer service but as basic servicing is an important aspect of bike riding it doesn’t come across too well here for Cannasia.

Bought a Cannondale mountain bike here and requested for a full servicing before getting it on the road. The service was great, Kris and his fellow colleagues ensured my brakes and wiring were done properly before sending it to me. I was even given a new saddle which fits me perfectly. They addressed all my concerns and also gave me some beginner cycling tips on how to maintain my bike. Cannasia comes with my highest recommendation for anyone that’s looking for mid-range and high-end bike that will last you a long time.
