The nasi lemak was delicious! The desserts were great too. The wagyu tomahawk is a little disappointing after the cut, the meat looks splattered everywhere and it looks bloody. However, the taste is not as bloody as it looks. Will be back to try the seafood. Overall a pleasant experience!

Wonderful food. Our 1st dedicated halal dinner with friends & family & we were all impressed with the food. Everything cooked perfectly, with good seasoning & the right spice level. Now planning a return in a few weeks with another group of friends … that says it all

Went to Cherry & Oak for dinner since I was nearby. Ordered quite a few dishes and half- chicken was good. The rest was okok. The smoked salmon all-day breakfast was pretty disappointing. Perhaps due to covid, chili sauce came in packets.. A bit on the pricey side as well. Bill came to 100+ for the below dishes

Was there for lunch on Wednesday and it was nice to see a good lunch crowd going. We arrived early for our reservation so it was empty when we got there. Do note that they require your credit card to book the slot and will deduct $120 if there’s a no-show. I think it’s pretty reasonable because it’s hard on the the F&B scene nowadays. But when we arrived, and I told them I had a reservation, I didn’t see the staff check for my reservation before seating us so I was a bit concerned that I might be marked as a no-show so I reminded the staff again and asked about the credit card details held… she was a little dismissive about it “the card is only if you didn’t turn up.” And she walked away before I could ask more. Minorly upsetting… But overall the dining experience was pretty good. We liked most of our dishes especially the two salads and the burnt ends (beef). These were pretty tasty. Don’t like the soufflé though… there was a bit of a sourish taste to it. Except for that staff at the beginning, the rest of the service was pretty ok, they tended to our needs promptly. We spent about $220 for everything that’s shown. ?

burnt ends is a must to get if dining here. so falvourful. and so happy that this is halal. tucked away in a quiet area, has a nice ambience and really good service. we got the alcohol-removed drinks but our personal opinion is can do without that. but the coffee and cakes are really good. my petsonal favourite is the lemon meringue tart which i did not take a picture of. overall will recommend this place. perfect for a dinner date but would not really be a good place for big family dinners with kids. a bit on the pricey side. two of us total was about 140. as mentioned, perfect for a celebratory dinner date for 2 ?

The ambience and setup of the place was good, with outdoor fans installed so the outdoor seating was enjoyable. Service was on the slow side the entire night, took more than 30mins for my half dozen oysters to arrive but the oysters were good! We ordered quite a lot: Colourful sausages, half chicken, burnt ends brisket, normal brisket, truffle fries, normal fries, lamb rack, chicken wings, oysters, and complimentary nasi lemak. Got the fudge brownie which was really dry and lemon tart which was on the sweet side for us. To be honest, I enjoyed the nasi lemak and oysters the most. This seems pretty consistent with reviews here that their seafood is better than meats. It was still a pleasant meal overal but I don’t find myself returning in the near term.

Food was really good so far. We ordered a lot and none of the dishes were disappointing. Just one thing is that the restaurant has a weird policy. We had to finish our main dish first before they would serve dessert. I mean come on, my friends want to eat their desserts while I was trying to finish up my meal, why would you dictate on what is served to our table? I can understand other restaurant policy like booking with $20 fee per person in advance. But I don't understand this policy of not letting customer deciding what we want to be served. I will still come back because the food is good but if they insist to tell us that we can't have desserts and our meals at the same time then I wouldn't come back. A bit controlling to be honest lol.

Get place for a date with your love ones. Place feel like you are not in Singapore. Food is nice. Especially the beef ribs and the truffle fries. Value for money. Service is fast and friendly staff. Recommended.
