It’s not very cheap compared to other mala but reasonably priced

Either the workers/owners have bad eyesight, or they're scammers - plain and simple. Ordered $27 worth of mala from them via Deliveroo with THREE portions worth of instant noodles but none of them came. Tried seeking remedy from Deliveroo but they weren't able to help so........

FOUND LONG HAIR IN THE FOOD - This is my $9 review. My wife and I went to have some food in tampines hub. Usually the food at the mala place is good until she took two bites and saw a hair in the food. She pulled it out of the cooked noodles and it was a quarter metre long! It wasn't my wife's hair since she tied her hair up. Unfortunately, she lost her appetite and $9 dollars worth of food. I asked my wife if we should go get a refund and she said to forget about it since she tossed the hair away already and there was no proof. Sorry, I didn't take a picture of the food nor hair in the food but seeing with my own eyes and monetary loss, I need to post this. Also, because of this we will be eating at home for a while and feel outside food is unsanitary. We went to the fairprice downstairs to buy instant noodles for her lunch. So I hope that next time the cook there will at least tie up their hair or at least wear a hairnet and check the ingredients before cooking it.

This is probably my third visit here after a really long time. This time, it’s during Phase 2 HA. There was no queue and the waiting time was short. There are still quite a number of ingredients to choose from, though the meats look like they have been sitting out for quite some time. Vegetables look fresh, still. I picked a handful of vege, 2 noodles and was a little shocked to find that it cost $9. I contemplated removing an ingredient or two but went with it regardless. I was quick to tuck in to my Mala but was disappointed when I found it pretty dry. The spice level for medium heat seems okay, but it was lacking in flavour. The ingredients were cooked just nice though, commendable. I never had a real negative experience but I’m unlike to revisit.

Ordered mid level of spiciness, but it was unfortunately still bland in taste. 10/10 wouldn’t recommend. There are still other mala stores in Tampines that can easily be tastier.
