Affordable chicken rice, 3.5 dollar. There is a good dry noodle with fried pork fat for 3.80. Besides that, the western store sells good truffle fries at 5.5 dollar. All of these are my go-to lunch.

The western food price look cheap but was close when I arrive so can't try. Coffee was not nice though .

Eating house located just behind First Centre, just above the bus stop. Many shops have changed over the years. As of Sept 2021, there is the tze char stall, drinks stall, western/japanese stall, noodles stall and cai png stall. Many people come here for either the tze char stall (hotpot dynasty), or japanese/western food. The coffeeshop is open air, and has limited seating capacity. No shelter from other places here. You can access it via the staircase from the bus stop, or from the roads in First Centre. Just gotta be careful of the cars around. First centre 1st floor is mainly automobile services shops now. Recommend to takeaway food from here!

Do not order western food. Especially black pepper chicken chop. Worse nightmare chicken with no taste of black pepper. Should not have a star. 0 star for this stall.

Had charcoal fish head steamboat for dinner. The soup was thick and flavourful. The fish head pieces were deep-fried while the fish meat were not, making it double texture within one soup! And long after the you won't feel thirsty, showing that they did not add any MSG into the soup, no wonder this is the dish they proud of. We also ordered another chef-recommended dish -- Har Cheong Kai (prawn paste fried chicken) -- and we're not regretted. Well-marinated yet not overly salty, the chicken mid-wings were deep-fried with a thin batter. When bite in, the amazingly crisp and light crust give it a first layer of texture, followed by the fragrant juiciness of the chicken meat. What a rice thief! We'll definitely be back for more enjoyable dishes!
