★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Traipsed past this Shoe Cobbler Uncle this rainy afternoon, and thought I can get my tatty shoe repaired. He was friendly and accommodating, and agreed to start the repair on the spot.
As we chatted, he shared that he is the sole breadwinner, as his son has mental illness and cannot hold on to a job. His wife has to stay at home to look after his son. Hence Shoe Cobbler Uncle has to work, rain or shine.
His price was surprisingly low.
So if you live near to Holland Village,and has some shoe repair jobs for Uncle, do drop by his "stall", outside Exit B, Holland Village MRT ( near Lorong Liput).
